In every battle, the guardian is the one who deserves the most honor because they sacrifice their life to save others, amidst all the hit from the enemies, they don't back down till their last breath just to make sure the ones being protected are safe... such is the case of the monster i will be talking about tonight....

wave brood devoted its entire life to the water splinter and it has only one job which is to protect the other monsters from attacks, what is the use of a defender who can't protect itself so the brood spent most of its time practicing how to protect itself from attacks and in the cause, it learn to use the void to protect itself from the magic attackers and the fire return is one of its way to fend off the enemies too...

The taunt ability is a blessing for the other monsters in any splinter the bearer is but it seems to be a curse to the bearer cos in every battle, it seems to be the one to die first as every enemy set their attacks on just him, it is indeed a great sacrifice that comes with lot of torture..

wave brood has a gift which is close range ability that allows it to attack in the front position unlike other range attackers, i guess that is to console him for the taunt burden it bears...

You may still underrate the capability of brood till i show you a battle that was won because of it.... It was a battle of the water splinter and the brood make a big difference in the game which lead to the big win....

Summary of the battle

It was a no neutral and healing out battle rules so definitely the likes of lord arianthus which is a big weakness to the magic attackers is ruled out being a neutral card and the best splinter to be used in this battle is the water splinter that has lot of magic and high speed monsters but the difference is what both team used.... They both used ruler of the seas, crustacean king but the other four monsters are totally different and that was the game changer and what determines the winner...

Awokado did guess saffi would come with magic attackers so he used lobstrademuss in second position, unfortunately lob has magic reflect but no void so it will still easily die from magic attackers but saffi took the best decision using wave brood even tho it has no magic reflect, it has the void ability which will make it difficult for the magic monsters to take it down and that was her lucky charm... the brood delayed the opponent attack on its team mate which gives them time to clear the opponent monsters and hence the victory was a success!
