Nowadays, people let love blind them, they see the signs yet look past it because of how they feel at that moment, people warn them but they refuse to listen because they don't want to lose the person, they confuse their feelings with the truth....

The best kind of relationship is finding someone you love and who loves you more but in most cases, it is always one sided or one person loving the other more and in certain cases, it is only one person putting effort in the relationship and once that person stops, that will be the end of it..

There are always green light to look out for to know where your relationship with someone is heading...

  • Chit chatting about the future
    This is one of the best way to know if your partner truly loves you or just toying with your heart, a loving partner will always chat about the beautiful babies he/she want to have with you, there will always be the us in their statement signifying a life together..

  • Care and support
    Trust me, no guy is stingy, it is either he does not love you enough to spend on you or he is broke, when a guy loves you, he will take your problem as his own and will always be ready to help you anytime you are in need and for a girl who loves you, she won't be demanding unnecesarily from you and will always support you in your goals...

  • Jealousy
    A little bit of jealousy is good in a relationship as it means there is love, if your partner doesn't get jealous or feel concerned seeing you with the opposite gender, then it is a bad sign, a true lover will get jealous when they see their the person they love getting so much attached to another... Just over jealous is what is bad as it is not healthy for a relationship and it is also the cause of the break up in many relationships.. let it be minimal, give your partner some space to interact with other people..

  • Attention
    If your partner is not giving you the attention you crave for, it is a very bad sign and it may be that they are no longer into you because someone is already getting their attention, do not ignore this sign, talk to your partner to know the reason and if it is genuine enough you can give it sometime but if it is not, you know what to do...

Sometimes it is necessary to use our brain and not heart to decide what is best for us, so once you notice any bad sign, work on it, stop wishing the person will change later, it is hard to get rid of old habit..

Feelings often use a good purpose, but sometimes can lead one down the wrong path. Almost always there are little signs that it might be the wrong way, but feelings can brush those aside and continue straight into a blind ally. If a person is lonely, at an opportune times, feelings can be almost too powerful not to affect judgement in some way.

Great post, although I am not sure about the jealousy part! Personally, I have felt some of it, though not too much in my previous relationships, but the current one i'm in.. I have never felt jealous. Sometimes it isn't indifference, but trust that triggers lack of jealousy, I believe.

I am not sharing - I know she wouldn't want to be shared, so there is nothing to worry about. We're in a stable long-term relationship and live together for years now!

Perhaps different people experience feelings in different ways!
