Splinterlands battle challenge: Armored up to Victory

The recent update on Energy does not sound pleasing to many players because once you exhausted the 50 energy you are given, you won't be able to battle anymore until either it recharges or buy energy with dec..

Few players i know are also not willing to waste their dec on energy as they don't see it profitable buying 1 energy for 500 dec, One battle cost 1 energy and spending that huge dec on energy and end up losing the battle is a big loss for them, also the reward pool has been drained, even winning the battle and earning 4 to 5 sps in champ is still a loss so not sure what splinterlands was thinking for them to come up with such a thing...

Another problem is players won't be able to compete in leaderboard anymore, unlike before that players can play from morning till night just to get a good spot in leaderboard, that is no longer possible so players now need to rely on their skills rather than their ability to play for a long time....

Things are messy right now but as usual, we will adapt!!

This week splinterlands battle challenge is a rule set called Armored up

This is when all monsters get 2 armor at the beginning of the game, it took me quite a while to get this battle rule set, i played and played before i finally found one...

There were two other rules that came with it..

• Back to basics: This means all monsters lose their abilities....
• Taking sides: No neutral monsters are allowed in this battle...

After seeing the three rules, i was confused on the splinter to use, what if i use water and the opponent use a magic reflect summoner or what if i use zaku and he used lir deep swimmer....

I had to take a decision anyway, so i chose Jacek summoner with the scatter shot ability and the goal was to defeat the opponent rare monsters as fast as possible..

My Line up

• Magnor
  On a normal day, i would use peaceful giant or almo cambio as tank cos of their long life but both are not available due to the rule and the monster that fit in bet is magnor even though it cost more man..

• Caladuum
  I was not sure what the opponent would use, so i needed to make sure my attackers are very safe, so i use this monster with high health as my second monster..

• Djinn Apprentice
  A monster with high magic power is what i need in this battle so apprentice is a good option..

• Elemental phoenix
  This monster is well known for her speed and magic power so it would be weird not to use it in such a battle...

• Djinn inferni
  Another high magic powered monster, i actually use all magic in this battle...

• Technowizologist
  Last but not the least, it also has 3 magic power....

Luckily for me, the opponent came with tarsa summoner, no idea what he was thinking to have come with such a summoner but that helped me achieve victory in the battle....
