The Amazing things/lessons Hive has taught me
I joined the hive platform with no knowledge about cryptocurrency or how it works but hive reshaped me, teaches me valuable lessons, and gave me priceless knowledge.
I was a teacher before the moment I joined the hive platform, ignorant of crypto or anything related to it, the hive blockchain was the first that teaches me how the other works, it was also on hive that I read other people's posts that teaches me that diversifying is not a bad thing and one should not put all his eggs in one basket.
Connections leading to Informations
Before the time before Hive, my knowledge and friends were limited to things and people in my country, but Hive break that barrier and I was able to interact and make friends with people in other countries.
My first 2 years on the hive, whenever I needed money and I needed to sell my Hive, I sell to people who help me to convert it to my currency but in a way, I was cheating myself because those people are making money from me and that is because of my lack of knowledge on how to sell by myself.
One day, I was discussing with @donefezy about cryptocurrency and somehow we get to the topic of different exchanges and he said he was going to teach me how to use them and he did!
The first time I sold my coins myself, I compared it to the price of those I do sell it to and realize I have been giving them a huge amount for something that won't take me more than 15 minutes or less to do by myself and since then I have been selling by myself.
I decided to also teach others who are facing such difficulties to trade their coins by themselves, I do not want them to be ignorant for years like me.
They said the first step is always the hardest, the moment I learned how to use Binance, I tried out other exchanges like gate.io, Kucoin, Bittrex, and others and even engage in spot trading.
I have also interacted with bridges and other blockchains outside the hive blockchain but the hive platform was what drive me to learn it.
Investment and Savings
Hive has also thought me the principles of investment and savings, not powering down my hive power means I am invested financially and emotionally to this amazing platform and want to grow big like others.
My existence on Hive also made me invest in Hive secondary tokens, I learned about how dividends and interest work practically here rather than the theory aspect taught in school.
Hive gave me the idea of investment which prompt me to invest also outside the Hive blockchain.
Everything I know now all started with the hive blockchain and the amazing people I met on it.

The Agbawo of BRO 😁😁😁. I think that hive opens up multiple learning Opportunities. For example I regretted not playing splinterlands in 2019, despite the fact that I had the opportunity to learn and two years later, I regretted it.

Splinterlands shocked everyone cos no one believed it was going to explode the way it did, many people even sold off a month before the pump, i would have been among them because i was also planning to sell all but for one reason i could not and am glad i didn't lol.

I actually knew splinterlands might blow up, but I procrastinated too much because I felt I didn't want to spend time maybe buying into something that might take time before I learned how to play. It was mostly laziness on my part
Splinterlands can still do it again, especially their governance token, SPS. My hope is on it so am gathering as much as I can before they send it to the moon.
Also, Hive has taught me the lifestyle of people in other countries since we all here are from different countries...
