The quality of our life depends on the quality of our decisions
Financial decisions are hard to make because they deal with risk, many people are scared to take that step towards their financial freedom because of the risk involved.
What if things go wrong, what if it didn't go as planned as stopped many people from deciding their life, they love the comfort zone where they lose or gain nothing.
Most times, the stories they hear from other people often discourage them from taking that step.
Whenever I make a decision, I always have many plans to back it up in case one does not work, the other plan would, if the second did not, the third would, and so on but I make a decision without a good plan years ago and I was so scared things would go wrong.
Back in the year 2018, I was struggling on the hive platform when a friend of mine told me and others about an offer that could boost our earnings, it was Trevon Trail and to be eligible to join this trial, the account needed to have a minimum of 700 hive power which in turn would yield a vote of 3 dollars on one post daily.
This offer was too good for anyone to miss but none of us had up to 200 hp talkless of 700hp, so many people gave up on it, I was not able to take it off my mind so I kept thinking and an idea came to my mind.
The idea was to obtain a loan from Neoxian, but we all know every loan requires collateral which I do not have, so I went into his DM with one mind to obtain a loan in the form of HP and I won't be powering down until I paid off the loan.
Hive was my main source of income at that time so the loan made it impossible for me to cash out to eat or do anything.
I told my friends to also go for the loan but they were so scared of loans and they all refused, I was scared too but I knew it was a hard decision I needed to take.
I took the loan and I was to pay it off within 6 months but I was so scared of things falling apart or being unable to pay the loan that I stopped cashing out and lived on garri and other cheap foods, I was focused on paying off the loan and I paid in full within 3 months and from there, it became easier for me to earn from the platform.
Many people are against loans because some people lose their collateral because they cannot pay it back, Some people failed in the business they used the loan for, while some people made fortunes from taking loans, everyone has a different story to tell.
As for me, after my first loan, I stopped getting scared of loans and I have taken more loans after that which favored me favorably.
Nowadays, for every decision I make, I always have a back up plan just incase things did not go the way I expected.

Hmmm financial decisions aren't easy for me ooooo. I had an encounter with varied fraudsters which almost affected every of my financial decisions. Thank God I'm growing and overcoming it gradually.
Financial decisions aren't easy for anyone because any wrong move can turn a rich man into a pauper, sorry about the bad encounters, that is one of the risk that comes with decisions making.

Not everything in life is certain. Many times we must take the decision to take a risk and if we are wrong we learn from it. Thank God your risk with Hive turned out favorably for you.

I never advise anyone to take a loan and I have never taken a loan and I have no plan for it in the future also. But sometimes taking loans is ok when it's worthy taking the risk and in such kind of situation we need to go with calculated risk. I think you took the loan after understanding the risk and you made a good calculation about it also. isn't it? But I think as much as we can avoid taking loans, it's good for us.

calculations and planning is important, some people take loans for things that are not investments, how are they going to pay back if they don't earn more money with the loan they obtain. that is the dilemma of many people.
The fear of loss inherent in every risk is what keeps many stuck on their comfort zone. For me, I mostly weigh the potential upside over the potential downside before finalising a financial decision. Sometimes, the downside is minimal compared to the upside.
Glad that the experience worked out for you and shifted your perspective regarding taking a loan.

The good thing is that you were able to pay the loan. It would have been worse if things went the other way but I’m glad it was not like that

As for the financial decision, It is not easy to make one at all as most people are crowded with the "what if" in their thoughts. Somebody like me, I am not excluded,😀 But I make the decisions anyway, though I am always careful in making such decisions and I also always make sure I have a backup plan.
I will think about the consequence later but let me act first 😁…
I understand people that overthink because some decisions have put some in great debt that they were not able to recover from, we just need to outweigh the benefit and loss that may arise from our decisions
It is a fact that if we take the right decisions at the right time, then our future life will be successful. If we do not take good decisions, then we will never be successful in life. One should take all the decisions of one's life.
