The castle dungeons and the town hall tower

Before visiting what I had left to see of the Castle, I wanted to take a walk near the Vistula River, which is the river that runs through Krakow, and there you can take a photo with a dragon, even though I discovered that there are several of these little dragons in the city. But if you come here early in the morning you won't find the crowds and you can take a beautiful souvenir photo. Then I also went to see the monument dedicated to a dog, which has a story like Akiko, a story let's say similar, and which has now practically become a national monument. In any case, a truly beautiful place and along the river where you can walk or even go for a jog freely.

By the way, I discovered that many cruises depart from here that take you around this river, but I noticed that they are very expensive so they absolutely do not fit into my budget.

On the penultimate day in Krakow, I returned to Wawel Castle to visit the underground, precisely because on Mondays there was free entry, so you could visit the underground part, where I found lots of people, more than anything internal tourism Polish tourism, basically you have the opportunity to see the most archaeological and hidden part that takes you to the foundations of the Castle, where you can also see the first buildings that were built here on this hill. It was a very interesting visit even if in some parts I think it was a bit boring, there was nothing multimedia to make you understand things a little better.

More than anything, the interesting thing is that it has understood how the Poles are very nationalistic, they care a lot about their property, think that this Castle, and let's say in this part that I visited it explained it much better, practically after the Second World War it was quite destroyed and with the help of everyone and also an economic effort of everyone it has been practically restored, and now it is a great source of national pride, seeing it made me understand how attached they are to their land

then towards the late afternoon, I had booked a visit to climb the Town Hall tower, a beautiful Gothic tower that you see in the Market Square, it was part of a much larger complex that included the old town hall, unfortunately to widen the square almost everything was demolished except the tower which remained thanks to the people who protested, so I went up because I always like to see the view from above, and I must say that it wasn't bad even if the weather wasn't great.
