Monomad : God of War
Howdy #monomad, guess who I got to feature today. It was Kratos the god of war.
Yeah, I know right but he was cool even though his facial expressions says otherwise. lol.
He looked like he wanted to battle and I was wasting his time. I took shots from different angles.
I took a top shot which is my favorite and the frame where I had to take it from a lower angle making it look like he was dominant.
We did the shoot on my study table using my Canon EOS Rebel T6i and and a single light setup. A godox V850II with no diffuser. Just hard light.
Even if I wanted a softer light, 120 cm octabox would have covered my whole table and I don't have a smaller diffuser yet.
Actually it was a God of war toy though, but if I could have done a shoot for a deity, that would have been Venus or Persephone ( Some of greek mythology finest)
I had to add my laptop stand to give it some form of dimension and depth in the background like a gobos or snoot.
And I also shot high speed sync which I couldn't do back then with my TT520s back then.
1/1000s ,ISO 400,F11,50MM 1.8 lens except for the blurry shot where my shutter speed was half of a second.
Pretty slow right?... I wished he was in some sort of action.
I did some post processing on Lightroom by using my gradient monochrome preset and some dodging and burning for those muscles to pop.
