Monomad : More essence.

avatar

#monomad today features renders from my product design creation where I turn a product idea into an awesome render.

Yeah... I had the liberty to use as many lights as I could, I was creative as I tried a lot of things that I will break down in the following paragraph.

More essence is a classy perfume coated with a thin sheet of silver metal and cover.
I created this using the base mesh cube, a few subdivisions and bevels to make it light catchy.

I then applied materials by changing levels of roughness for the metal and index of refraction for the glass.

The backdrop which happens to be my keylight, yes it is because it was an emission shader and a subtle gradient texture unto it.
This backdrop provided most of my light.

I added more light sources for the details and rims in the frame.

I use a focal length of 100mm for the camera lens but I guess I can call this blender camera.

The water ripples were created using dynamic paint brush and canvas. I had to try few frames before I got the perfect ripples. Also I applied a waves modifier before it worked

Took it Photoshop for a little processing and these were basically the processes involved.

Thanks for stopping guys
