Day 1545 | Bench Press Progress


I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog to keep track of all my activity. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, fitness, work, and my personal life...

The one thing I have done consistently in the past 10 days are my 100 bench presses. While I started out too light in weight, I'm now at the maximum of 37.5kg weights that I actually own. The first round I do each day I try to do as many as I can which currently sits at 23 without really pushing it to the limit. I will be buying 2x5 kg playes extra on monday or Tuesday as I don't feel it that much in my arms or chest the day after.

Saturday was an ok day even though I did kind of cheat on some cookies and chips, I also went out on a shorter evening walk to reach my 10k steps on the day and overall was quite productive. The Belgian Football season starts again on Sunday with the super cup which will both give me a lot more structure but also less time going forward. I do highly look forward to it though.

You'll feel it on your body, you'll be fit all day if you don't stop but once you stop, you'll feel the pain and slim again. Although the structure may still be there but your strength would have reduce

During a period of 60 days that is the plan. It's actually not that hard and I feel I should do a lot more or at least raise the weight which I plan to do next week. The goal is to just slightly feel it the day after without it causing too much discomfort slowly but surely making progress. If anything, having a journaling blog really helps to somewhat stay consistent.
