Day 2967 | Planning My Next Thailand Trip

I started a challenge of taking 100 days off to mainly focus on my health and overall personal development and used this account as a personal blog to keep track of all my activity. I enjoyed it and continued afterward trying to build better habits and find a good balance between health, fitness, work, entertainment, and my personal life...

I pretty much love my routine during the football season here in Belgium and not much beats it. Going to Thailand for 2 months during the off season also worked out way better than I could have imagined as I have a girlfriend there with the intention to make it work long-term. This leaves me with a 10-month period during the year that we don't see eachother which pretty much is too long. So I have been thinking about going over there again during the football winter break. However, that is only 2 weeks or so which makes the 24-hour travel too long. So I've been looking to find a date an affordable plane tickets that provide a comfortable travel without too much waiting inbetween flights and think I found it.

If I leave on Monday 30th november and come back Wednesday January 13th, it costs about 650$ for the flight ticket and I will only have to follow round 14-15-16 of the league there while having 44 days which feels like a good period of time to do another full month of Muay Thai Boxing there taking care of my health. So I will try to book that and see from there on out if I can get a room in the same building where I was over the summer.

Aside from this, there were some European matches with I followed and I had a bit of productivity without much more on Thursday. I also did my pull-ups but have yet to switch my eating to healthy again. Having a date set to leave also will give me more motivation I guess.

I can imagine how tough a 10‑month gap must feel, so it’s great that you’re already planning ahead for the winter break. Even if the travel time is long, finding affordable and comfortable flights makes the idea much more doable and it shows how committed you are to making the relationship work long‑term.

So far it has been 1 month and it's quite ok as I have my daily routine here and few things actually beat that. 10 months though would be very long so having 44 days extra there inbetween will be a nice welcome. I'm looking forward.
