Hello friends, how is everyone? It's been a long time since I stopped by here. I've been lost trying to find myself again, going through some experiences that perhaps I value or give more importance to than the good ones. After all the heartbreak and bad experiences, I heard this from a great artist, a genius whom I wish were still with us—I'm talking about Amy Winehouse, and she said: "Some people come into our lives and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same." I understand her; every time you think it's easier to cope with a loss, the footprint just gets bigger.

Anyway, I leave you this series of photographs about the daily life of Lima, its people, its castles, cathedrals, and above all, the survivors of this city. I don't have many words to offer you even though a lot of time has passed; my mind is blank. I would like to be able to tell you many things, but everything in due time. I don't want this to be just a place of melancholy and venting, but rather of progress—although sometimes, as I said before, I think both go hand in hand depending on which side you are standing on, what your eyes see. If everything is clear, you'll look at things you might not notice when everything is dark.

I hope to have my usual consistency again so I can be here more often, and I hope all my fellow photographers keep giving it their all. Good vibes to everyone.

Hola amigos, ¿cómo están todos? Hace mucho que no paso por acá. He estado perdido tratando de reencontrarme conmigo mismo, pasando algunas experiencias a las que tal vez valoro o doy más importancia que a las buenas. Después de todos los problemas de corazón y mis malas experiencias, escuché esto de una gran artista, una genia que desearía que siga con nosotros —hablo de Amy Winehouse—, y dijo: "Algunas personas que llegan a nuestras vidas dejan huellas en nuestros corazones y ya no somos los mismos". La entiendo; cada vez uno cree que es más sencillo afrontar una pérdida, pero cada vez la huella es más grande.

Igual les dejo esta serie de fotografías de la vida cotidiana de Lima, de su gente, de sus castillos, catedrales y, sobre todo, supervivientes de esta ciudad. No tengo muchas palabras para regalarles, aun así haya pasado mucho tiempo; me encuentro en blanco. Me gustaría poder contar muchas cosas, pero todo a su debido momento. No quiero que este sea un lugar melancólico y de desahogo, más bien de progreso —aunque a veces, como he dicho antes, creo que ambas van de la mano dependiendo de de qué lado estás y hacia dónde tus ojos miran; si todo está claro, mirarás cosas que tal vez no mires cuando todo está oscuro—.

Espero poder tener la constancia de siempre para poder estar más seguido así, y espero que todos los amigos fotógrafos sigan acá dándolo todo. Buenas vibras a todos.
