Hello friends of the B&W community! Today I return with a series focused on the struggle of the daily commute. My lead image is of an elderly woman navigating a total battle just to reach the bus door; that lost, disoriented gaze makes you think about our own future and the hardships of age.

I also documented key urban characters: the cambista (money changer), who carries a fortune in cash in a city as "spicy" and dangerous as Lima, and the "datero," the unsung king of resources. He keeps track of bus frequencies with his notebook and cryptic dialect, acting as a competitive guide for the drivers. The rest of the series captures the inevitable disconnection people glued to their phones even in a bus where you can't fit a pin and the physical struggle of the elderly fighting for a step toward the exit. ¡Hola, amigos de la comunidad en Blanco y Negro! Hoy vuelvo con una serie enfocada en la lucha del transporte diario. Mi foto principal es una abuela enfrentando una batalla total para llegar a la puerta del bus; esa mirada perdida te hace pensar en nuestro propio futuro y en la dureza de la edad.

También documenté personajes clave de nuestra urbe: el cambista, que arriesga todo con fajos de billetes en una ciudad "picante" como Lima; y el "datero", el rey del recurso. Él apunta en su cuaderno la frecuencia de los buses y da datos a la competencia con un dialecto muy peculiar. El resto de la serie captura nuestra desconexión digital la gente pegada al celular incluso cuando el bus está a reventar y el esfuerzo físico de quienes, a pesar de todo, siguen luchando por bajar en su parada.
