Hello friends of the B&W community and the MonoMad Challenge! Another day, another opportunity to grow. Today, I walked through "El Trébol," a complex bypass of bridges that connects different districts in Lima. It’s a fascinating place. The sun was going down, giving me that perfect light to play with shutter speeds, framing, and movement.

I’m exhausted after coming back from classes, but I made a commitment to myself and this community to post daily. My main photo is one I've wanted for a long time: the bridge felt like it was going to collapse under the pressure of the crowd, yet there was a woman trying to sell her goods amidst the chaos. I wanted to capture the people as ghosts or blurs, and I think I nailed it. Throughout the series, you’ll see the geometry of the bridges framing life: a boy under a sign, a family trapped between fences, and the exhaustion that eventually makes us fall asleep even while standing on the bus. ¡Hola, amigos de la comunidad en Blanco y Negro y del MonoMad Challenge! Un día más de vida y de aprendizaje. Hoy caminé por "El Trébol", un sistema de bypass muy interesante que conecta distritos. Aproveché que el sol bajaba para jugar con velocidades, encuadres y composiciones. Acabo de llegar de clases y estoy exhausto, pero mi compromiso diario con ustedes y conmigo mismo es inquebrantable.

La foto principal es una que siempre quise tomar. El puente temblaba, casi como si se fuera a caer, mientras una señora intentaba vender sus cosas en medio de la ráfaga de gente. Quería captar a las personas como fantasmas o ráfagas, y creo que el resultado es exactamente lo que buscaba. En esta serie encontrarán encuadres precisos entre las rejas, personas atrapadas por la arquitectura del puente y ese cansancio colectivo que nos hace dormir hasta parados en el bus. ¡Espero que disfruten estas 8 fotografías!
