Hello #SciFimultiverse, I trust your day is going well. Happiness can be defined as a state of being contented with what one has. This can be personal achievement, status, or general fulfilment in life beyond physical possessions.

While material possessions make some people happy, for me, what makes me happy is steady, consistent progress, the breath of life, and health.

Family Moments, Happy Moments

On the other hand, life experiences have a way of humbling us. We experience life differently. Some start small and end up big; some start big, and along the line, they encounter challenges and things fall apart they end up relatively small. Different strokes of life experience for different folks.

I had a cousin who had the ambition to travel abroad for some years. Each time, he would call me to share his life experiences and how life has dealt with him. I kept encouraging and reminding him that it would end in praise. Most often, after our conversations, we would pray together and hang up.

One day, while I was at the office, I got a call from him, thinking it was the usual talk, and behold, he shared his success story of securing a Visa approval and a booked flight already to his destination. I left everything I was doing, knelt, and thanked God on his behalf. It was a big win for the family, and in fact, I couldn't eat well for some days because I was so happy and couldn't help but feel satisfied with life.


While Onboarding

On the day of his travel, we were on the phone all day until he boarded.
In the end, happiness came not really from our physical accumulation of wealth or achievements because some have this wealth in excess yet have no genuine happiness; rather, fake happiness.

In conclusion, happiness comes from genuine love and contentment with the people around us and our genuine wins here and there.

You are correct, that is the reason people do a lot of things to be happy. Some even go to the extent of becoming tipsy to forget their woes in order to be happy but in all these, happiness is still not guaranteed.
Genuine happiness is what we all need. But the question is can we be genuinely happy with challenges here and there. It only takes the grace of God.

Yesooo, sometimes we also need this money to complement the goodness of having our health and breadth of life intact.
I once read in the scripture where it is written that anyman that cannot provide/take care of their family is worse than an infidel (a fool) Therefore, when we have our health and breadth, we also need this money to make life comfortable.
