Theme: "Game On Hive: What Keeps You Coming Back?"

Hello #indiaunited friends, it is yet another beautiful moment with a topic on games.

The world is becoming more stressful and hectic; no wonder the percentage of people playing games is increasing daily. People play games to relax their minds and get some fresh air from their busy schedules. When you board public transport, you see different categories of people playing games: the young, adults, and even the elderly.

Recently, the Hive blockchain has witnessed a lot of buzz about games on microblogging platforms such as Waves, Snap, and others. This includes Splinterland, Hive Groove, and the crossword puzzle, which are the most played. I took the time to make some findings, with support from @savvyplayer and @savvytester. They explained the process and other games, so I registered and started playing.

Some of the games I have played include the Pepe Frog game, Zombie Outbreak, Alive Memory, and Larry Hunt, all on Alivetribe. They are strategic, especially the Pepe Frog game. At first, I lost battles until I learned the strategy from some players. The rules are to strategically position the frogs to fight off opponents. If that is not done well, the opponent will strike all your frogs and take them out one by one. I am currently on the list of the 12 highest total XP players found.

Second is the Zombie Outbreak; it rains zombies, and the player needs to take them out before they land. I played and succeeded as the number 1 ranked player at the moment.

Third on my list is the Alive memory game; the player needs to match the cards within a time limit. Fewer moves increase the score; I wasn’t able to beat the ranked player there. But I successfully climbed to rank 2 the last time I played.

Last but not least is Larry Hunt, where a player is expected to catch the Larry card displayed within a jiffy; if it disappears, then you lose as the game becomes cold. I also ranked 2 there but couldn’t beat the ranked 1 player.

I keep coming back to play the games because they are fun, strategic, and help increase my brain activity, IQ, and creativity. If a player is not creative and smart, the opponents will win. Again, no serious progress will be made.

In conclusion, Hive games boost interaction, take away anxiety, and put me on another level of energy and creativity. More still, the rewards are exciting. Thank you.

Are you even sure that I've not opened the cards. I think I have opened and used the 3 cards but to be certain, I will log into the game tomorrow and reconfirm. I have also resorted to replaying previous games to earn more Volt tokens to build back the ones I used for purchase.

Whoa, really? But I think I have opened all the cards, and most of them have low parameters(don't know what to call them); they have low attack, speed, armour, etc. That was why I decided to upgrade the frogs. Unfortunately, I have yet to get a match considering my opponent's current build-up. They have like 13, 12, and speed of 5 or thereabouts. They also have more Epic and Rare Frogs than I do. Lolz, I have dogged that battle and played previous ones to avoid losing more Volt cards.

When you get access to a new level, you still have access to the last level. Play there and win VOLTs to buy packs and cards.

And you can drop by the game several times a day for free VOLTs.

The game economy needs purchases at this point. Gifting cards could result in a drained game account wallet.

I think that you are referring to "Campaign" when you said "level". 🤔🤓 However, @cagolistic hasn't said that she has unlocked the next Campaign yet or won at the Level 6 of the first Campaign. 😅🐸

There are many times @cagolistic isn't able to visit the game (especially to take advantage of the free battles every 1 to 3 hours), such as when she is at work or at places with bad Internet connection. 🤔🤓

I would say that #HiveGrove is an idle game, where idle games are still games that can be played but most of the time is spent waiting and there is little rush to come back quickly after leaving the game. 🎮🤓

I would recommend that a Hive Grove player to plant more trees on their grove if they are okay with all of the following: 🧘‍♂️

  1. have spare HIVE to spend
  2. like the Hive Grove game
  3. doesn't look for huge profit right away (though the game itself generally has more than 200% APR at the moment)

I really like the #HiveGrove game because it is not challenging to play, and that the APR is easy to calculate on a computer. 🤓

I no longer play the following games:

  • #Splinterlands because I very often lose Battles
  • #SlothMiner because of the PvP aspect (stealing Honey and losing Honeycomb) making players literally lose some sleep

I still play the following games, but I hope that they improve significantly over time.

  • #RisingStar whose STARBITS value is extremely low, and STARPRO value very high
  • #LimitlessMiner where the website is slow especially on mobile devices because of the animation (where the animation does not affect mining at all)
  • #ThreeLegacy where the THREE tokens are still building up value (where the value of each THREE token is less than 0.0000001 HIVE)
  • #Hashscore where the profitable tokens to win are already depleted

Funny and yet very educational. I will happily bookmark this to learn more about the games. However, apart from the Hive Grove. I like playing Alive Memory, though I'm yet to know what the rewards look like. I also like playing Larry Hunt because it keeps me focused and stirred. I would like to explore games on the Hive Suite, and hopefully the new game Ecency is about to launch. I hope to play it as well.

In terms of some other apps though which use Hive accounts (such as #PeakD Chat) can be called "Hive-based" even if they do not have tokens, because they require authentication that the Hive account being used to interact with other Hive users !INDEED has the private posting key or private active key of such account. 🤓 !WINEX !MMB !BBH !ALIVE
