Money Is A Neccessity In Life

DOES MONEY BUY HAPPINESS

Money being sprayed in a wedding.

Imagine that this couple after spending resources to put up this wedding and nobody came out to spray them money. I doubt if they would go home happy.

There is a popular saying that money answereth all things, and at the same time, that it is the root of all evil.

However, to me, money is a necessity and at the same time can help to sustain happiness. It strengthens love, brings comfort, and provides options. Late last year, we had a need to change our washing machine because the old one was always breaking down. We were not able to buy another one immediately because it was not on the priority list and we have limited fund as atthat moment.

To add to the pressure, we had visitors towards the festive season, and it became very challenging to wash. We resorted to manual washing, and it was very hectic for us. At that point, we had to reconsider it, and a few weeks later, we purchased another one. The availability of money made it possible.

When there is no money, it leads to a lot of things, such as unhappiness, bitterness, rancour, and intimidation. We all recently heard the trending news on social media regarding a teenager who was allegedly deceived into a fake relationship by a well known content creator because of her family's poor status, and later lost her life in that incident as a result of a journey gone wrong. It buttresses the fact that moneyis a necessity in life and can bring not only happiness but peace ad comfort depending on ones purpose and perspective in life.

Contented and happy

Furthermore, if I suddenly became wealthy, I would live a simple and comfortable life. Take good care of my family and loved ones, and give them the best things life can afford. I will also support others who have been supportive in my life. I will be very patriotic nd would take up some projects both in the church and also in society at large because we can only pss through this life's journey oncead what ever we laboured for, shall be duly rewarded.

Conversely, there are some ironies of life when it comes to wealth. Some are wealthy, but they do not have peace, happiness, or even good health. On the other hand, some families are poor, yet they are contented with what they have, where they are, marching forward, working, hoping, believing, and trusting that tomorrow will bring the good news they are expecting.

In conclusion, money is a necessity in life; however, caution, integrity, and godliness must guide one to control the urge to go the wrong route, seeking to make money by all means to make ends meet.
