One fateful day like that, I was with my mother at her office. When a woman visited her to collect someone's clothes in proxy. As usual, I excused them as decorum demands. While I was engaged with other things in the other room, I just started hearing background voices. No, no no no, I would not accept that, Juliana, I won’t accept that from your mother. Tell her that I am not a decoration, I would say my mind, I would tell the priest what I know concerning this issue, and nobody can stop me or change my mind. I am not a decoration; I am also part of the women's wing and even the council of leaders, so I will not tolerate that from her and so on.

Without wasting much time again, I bumped into the office and asked my mother what the issue was. She simply told me that there are parish issues that need the priest's attention; however, Juliana’s mother is requesting that she keep mute when they get to the council meeting, so she is insisting that she would bare her mind because she is not a decoration in the women's meeting.

I turned and faced Juliana, called her by her name, Juliana, kindly tell your mother that my mum is not a decoration, she has feelings, a voice to defend and most importantly, a woman of integrity, therefore she would bare her mind before the priest. My mother is not a decoration!
