"Sin obstáculos no hay vida" (Reflexión)//"Without obstacles there is no life" (Reflection)

La vida es el camino por el cual todos transitamos, y a medida que vamos creciendo también vamos cultivando en nuestro corazón metas, sueños y proyectos por los cuales queremos trabajar. Todo parece iniciar desde el primer momento en el que llega a nuestra mente una pregunta con tintes de invitación a la acción: ¿Qué quiero llegar a ser cuando sea grande? Sin duda alguna, muchos de nosotros en los primeros tramos de nuestra vida nos hemos encontrado ante semejante planteamiento.

A partir de allí nos trazamos un norte, un objetivo por el cual estamos dispuestos a invertir tiempo, esfuerzo y energías, un interés profundo y genuino con el cual estamos dispuestos a alcanzar nuestras metas de forma exitosa, hacer realidad esos sueños por los que estamos dispuestos a vivir y superar cualquier dificultad. ¿Obstáculos? Es interesante que nadie suele hablar de ellos y mucho menos si nos referimos a logros y metas. A decir verdad, puedo decir que uno de los primeros obstáculos en nuestra vida es pensar que nunca los habrá.

¿Pesimismo? ¡No! Más bien se trata de ser realista y aceptar que para forjar un sendero hacia el éxito y el triunfo debemos estar conscientes de los posibles obstáculos o retos que se presentarán en el camino. Esto es un punto a considerar pues al afrontar cualquier dificultad, evitaremos huir y renunciar de nuestro objetivo. Es triste mencionarlo pero existen muchas experiencias en las que personas han llegado a renunciar a sus sueños ante el primer problema, sin el más mínimo esfuerzo para seguir adelante.

Life is the road along which we all travel, and as we grow we also cultivate in our hearts goals, dreams and projects for which we want to work. Everything seems to start from the first moment in which a question comes to our mind with a tinge of an invitation to action: What do I want to become when I grow up? Undoubtedly, many of us in the early stages of our lives have been faced with such a question.

From there we set a goal, an objective for which we are willing to invest time, effort and energy, a deep and genuine interest with which we are willing to achieve our goals successfully, to realize those dreams for which we are willing to live and overcome any difficulty. Obstacles? It is interesting that nobody usually talks about them and much less if we refer to achievements and goals. To tell the truth, I can say that one of the first obstacles in our life is to think that there will never be any.

Pessimism? No! Rather, it is about being realistic and accepting that in order to forge a path towards success and triumph, we must be aware of the possible obstacles or challenges that will arise along the way. This is a point to consider because by facing any difficulty, we will avoid running away and giving up on our goal. It is sad to mention it but there are many experiences in which people have given up their dreams at the first problem, without the slightest effort to move forward.

Otras de las amenazas en nuestro camino a cumplir nuestros sueños vienen desde afuera, a través de consejos o comentarios que pueden dañar nuestro ímpetu y deseo de alcanzar lo que queremos. Las palabras tienen el poder de catapultar o sepultar nuestros sueños, y mucho dependerá también de cuánto permitimos que nos afecten y condicionen nuestra manera de ver la vida. Si no tenemos cuidado podríamos no solo ver nuestros sueños frustrados, sino también correríamos el riesgo de abandonar por completo cualquier proyecto o plan en el futuro.

Durante mi adolescencia viví una experiencia que describe perfectamente la idea que deseo expresar. Recuerdo que mi sueño era destacar en un a faceta deportiva para la cual tenía muchas habilidades, disfrutaba lo que practicaba y eso me ayudaba a desenvolverme de manera destacada. Tenía las aptitudes necesarias, pero no con la actitud correcta para afrontar la llegada de algunos obstáculos. Todo empezó con el desconocimiento de ciertos factores que a la larga perjudicarían mis esfuerzos por avanzar.

Por otro lado, los comentarios malsanos por parte de otras personas me afectaron en sentido emocional, lo cual poco a poco dentro de mí fue creando un desgaste interno que terminó afectando mi actitud, mi autoestima, algo que mas adelante se convirtió en mí propio enemigo y un obstáculo que yo mismo me generé por no saber actuar y reaccionar a tiempo. Aún así, comprendí que hasta de los peores y más grandes obstáculos se puede sacar una valiosa enseñanza, y en mi caso esto me permitió al pasar el tiempo poder seguir adelante con mi sueño de ser escritor.

Other threats on our way to fulfilling our dreams come from the outside, through advice or comments that can damage our momentum and desire to achieve what we want. Words have the power to catapult or bury our dreams, and much will also depend on how much we allow them to affect us and condition our way of seeing life. If we are not careful we could not only see our dreams frustrated, but also run the risk of completely abandoning any project or plan in the future.

During my adolescence I lived an experience that perfectly describes the idea I wish to express. I remember that my dream was to stand out in a sport facet for which I had many skills, I enjoyed what I practiced and that helped me to perform in an outstanding way. I had the necessary skills, but not the right attitude to face the arrival of some obstacles. It all started with the ignorance of certain factors that would eventually harm my efforts to advance.

On the other hand, the unhealthy comments from other people affected me emotionally, which little by little inside me was creating an internal wear that ended up affecting my attitude, my self-esteem, something that later became my own enemy and an obstacle that I generated myself for not knowing how to act and react in time. Even so, I understood that even from the worst and biggest obstacles you can get a valuable lesson, and in my case this allowed me to move forward with my dream of being a writer.

¿Imaginas una vida sin obstáculos? ¿Hacer realidad nuestros sueños sin tanto esfuerzo y dedicación? Hasta para la persona menos temeraria esto sería totalmente aburrido, y más si eres una persona que está tratando de alcanzar sus sueños en este preciso momento. No cabe duda que todo ese recorrido conlleva mucho más de lo que se podría explicar, pero todo se resume en la satisfacción y el deleite que sentimos cuando percibimos el fruto de nuestro éxito, un sueño cumplido y hecho realidad.

Mi punto de partida ha sido el creer en mí y saber que puedo destacar en el arte de la literatura y la escritura. Siento que compito más que conmigo mismo, y me siento feliz porque en cada relato, reflexión o poesía encuentro la satisfacción de crecer como creador de contenido. Obstáculos y dificultades ha habido muchos, pero mi visión hacia ellos ahora es distinta y los afrontó de manera distinta, viéndolos como una oportunidad para seguir mejorando en mi ocupación. Cada escritor puede esperar un comentario de encomio o de critica así que la clave está en la disposición para aceptar ambas opiniones sin dejar que me afecte en lo que hago.

Si el obstáculo es tan grande como una montaña, aprendo a escalar, y si es tan ancho como el mar pues aprendo a nadar. Aún si se tratara de un desierto árido y solitario, siempre habrá un oasis esperando por ti al otro lado, así que cualquier esfuerzo que hacemos por alcanzar nuestros sueños siempre valdrá la pena. Tal como nadie puede soñar por alguien , nadie puede impedirnos soñar y privarnos de alcanzarlos.

Can you imagine a life without obstacles? To make our dreams come true without so much effort and dedication? Even for the least reckless person this would be totally boring, and even more so if you are a person who is trying to achieve your dreams at this very moment. There is no doubt that all that journey entails much more than could be explained, but it all boils down to the satisfaction and delight we feel when we perceive the fruit of our success, a dream fulfilled and made reality.

My starting point has been believing in myself and knowing that I can excel in the art of literature and writing. I feel that I compete more than with myself, and I feel happy because in each story, reflection or poem I find the satisfaction of growing as a creator of content. There have been many obstacles and difficulties, but my vision towards them now is different and I face them in a different way, seeing them as an opportunity to continue improving in my occupation. Every writer can expect a comment of praise or criticism, so the key is in the willingness to accept both opinions without letting it affect what I do.

If the obstacle is as big as a mountain, I learn to climb, and if it is as wide as the sea, I learn to swim. Even if it is an arid and lonely desert, there will always be an oasis waiting for you on the other side, so any effort we make to reach our dreams will always be worth it. Just as no one can dream for someone else, no one can stop us from dreaming and deprive us from achieving them.
