A fun series: Turner & Hooch [ESP/ING]

Una Serie original de Disney para su plataforma de streaming: Disney+, basada en una película del año 1989. La conseguí por casualidad en Disney, un domingo cuando buscaba como entretenerme, cuando la comencé a ver apenas tenía 4 capítulos; me enganche y me quedé muy pendiente cada miércoles de un nuevo capítulo.
An original Disney series for its streaming platform: Disney+, based on a 1989 movie. I got it by chance in Disney, one Sunday when I was looking for how to entertain myself, when I started watching it I only had 4 chapters; I got hooked and I was very pending every Wednesday for a new chapter.
Socios y Sabuesos nos habla del oficial Scott Turner, quién está iniciando su carrera como policía Federal busca tener grandes casos y ser mejor. Su padre quien falleció hace poco también fue un oficial, que marcó la historia policial por un gran caso que estuvo a su cargo en su pequeño pueblo, como policía nunca salió de este pequeño lugar. Así que Scott busca ir más allá, lo que no cuenta es que su padre le dejo a un perro: Hooch, el cual es bastante travieso y baboso. Ambos deben aprender a convivir entre ellos; se enseñarán mutuamente y vivirán nuevas aventuras juntos.
Los personajes principales, ósea los que vemos en cada capítulo son:
• El Oficial Scott Turner.
• Nuestro personaje canino: Hooch.
• Los compañeros de Scot: Xavier (X) y Jessica.
• Erica.
• Laura Turner.
• El Jefe James Méndez.
Vemos con frecuencia pero con menos relevancia a su ex novia: Brooke. Todos estos personajes están bien hechos, me parecen divertidos y muy reales; porque cometen errores, no son perfectos y cada uno tiene características bastante propias. La interacción entre ellos es muy rica, realmente es divertida y cada uno de ellos se complementa entre sí.
Partners and Hounds tells us about officer Scott Turner, who is starting his career as a Federal police officer looking to have great cases and be better. His father who passed away recently was also an officer, who marked the police history for a big case he was in charge of in his small town, as a police officer he never left this small place. So Scott seeks to go further, what he does not count is that his father left him a dog: Hooch, which is quite mischievous and slimy. Both must learn to live together; they will teach each other and live new adventures together.
The main characters, i.e. the ones we see in each chapter are:
- Officer Scott Turner.
- Our canine character: Hooch.
- Scot's partners: Xavier (X) and Jessica.
- Erica.
- Laura Turner.
- Chief James Mendez.
We see frequently but with less relevance his ex-girlfriend: Brooke. All these characters are well done, I find them funny and very real; because they make mistakes, they are not perfect and each one has characteristics quite unique. The interaction between them is very rich, it's really funny and each of them complements each other.
Esta es una serie que defino como divertida, entretenida y familiar; ahorita estoy buscando cosas que me distraigan de las responsabilidades y el estrés de mi día a día. Así que esta serie cumplió mis expectativas. Me reí demasiado en cada capítulo, en algunos más que en otros.
Me gusta mucho el hecho de que a pesar de que este es un formato que conocemos (serie policial con un caso por capítulo) me gustaba la dinámica que capítulo tras capítulo nos presentaban, porque también se armaba un rompecabezas que se va resolviendo hasta el final de la historia.
En cuanto a las escenas de violencia e incluso las románticas, las considero reales, si bien no es una de las series más espectaculares visualmente, está para mi bien hecha; se ven muy reales y bastante maduras para ser una serie con el sello de Disney. Además los delitos que se presentan no son irracionales o fantasiosos, son de hecho bastante reales y cercanas a la cotidianidad.
This is a series that I define as fun, entertaining and family friendly; right now I am looking for things to distract me from the responsibilities and stress of my day to day life. So this series fulfilled my expectations. I laughed too much in each chapter, some more than others.
I really like the fact that even though this is a format we are familiar with (police series with one case per chapter) I liked the dynamic that chapter after chapter presented us with, because it also put together a puzzle that is solved until the end of the story.
As for the scenes of violence and even the romantic ones, I consider them real, although it is not one of the most spectacular series visually, it is for me well done; they look very real and quite mature to be a series with the Disney seal. Besides, the crimes presented are not irrational or fantastical, they are in fact quite real and close to everyday life.
Debo decir que siento que Hooch es uno de los personajes caninos que más me he disfrutado, me gusta como capítulo tras capítulo se crea un vínculo emocional con nuestro protagonista Scott; además de que se descubren cualidades caninas que quizá nunca pudimos imaginar. Hooch es un perro especial y la esencia de la serie, sin él muchas cosas no tendrían sentido o se irían en un camino diferente.
Socios y sabuesos también cuenta con una relación humano- canino que se establece de manera muy pura; demostrando que los perros puede tener hermosas conexiones con sus dueños y que puede percibir las emociones del ambiente y manifestarles sin ningún tipo de problema.
¿Es ésta una serie increíble con una trama súper compleja y grandiosos elementos? Definitivamente no, pero es muy divertida y entretenida; mis capítulos favoritos en definitiva los volveré a ver, el final me pareció muy bien resuelto aunque me quedé con ganas de ver un poco más; una temporada nueva sería bastante buena de ver... Socios y Sabuesos es también una serie muy cuchi donde está presente en la mayoría de los escenarios un gran amor por los perros.
I must say that I feel that Hooch is one of the canine characters that I have enjoyed the most, I like how chapter after chapter creates an emotional bond with our protagonist Scott; in addition to discovering canine qualities that perhaps we could never imagine. Hooch is a special dog and the essence of the series, without him many things wouldn't make sense or would go a different way.
Partners and Hounds also features a human-canine relationship that is established in a very pure way; showing that dogs can have beautiful connections with their owners and can sense the emotions of the environment and manifest them without any problems.
Is this an amazing series with a super complex plot and great elements? Definitely not, but it is very funny and entertaining; my favorite episodes I will definitely watch again, the ending seemed very well resolved although I was left wanting to see a bit more; a new season would be pretty cool to watch..... Partners and Hounds is also a very cuchi series where a great love for dogs is present in most of the scenarios.
Para mí los elementos estrellas serían:
• Scott y su relación con Hooch; la manera en la que ambos se complementan y crean una relación de amistad.
• X y Erica son dos de mis personajes favoritos, porque le agregan momentos divertidos y también grandes lecciones de la vida diaria.
Socios y Sabuesos es una serie que recomiendo si lo que se busca es pasar un rato agradable en familia o distraerse de manera liviana y divertida de la cotidianidad.

For me the star elements would be:
Scott and his relationship with Hooch; the way the two complement each other and create a friendly relationship.
X and Erica are two of my favorite characters, because they add funny moments and also great lessons of everyday life.
Partners and Hounds is a series that I recommend if you are looking for a nice family time or a light and fun distraction from everyday life.
To close this post I leave you with my favorite quote:

I have not seen this series. I'll keep it in mind for when I want to watch some comedy.

Gracias por esta recomendación tan buena, no me hubiera imaginado que esta serie seria tan divertida e interesante, sobretodo porque cuando buscamos algo nuevo para entretenernos un rato no sabemos lo que vamos a encontrar, y más cuando nadie nos la recomienda, gracias a tu post me llamo mucho la atención para verla un fin de semana y reírme un rato, sobretodo me encanta su protagonista, después de Drake y Josh no lo he vuelto a ver muy a menudo.
