Grieving, never heals? [ESP/ING]

¡Hola, Comunidad de Hive!

Hello, Hive Commnunity!

If you ask me the hardest moments of my life, I think my answer would be that the moments in which I live the grief have become quite dark. Grief from my point of view, is the process where we suffer a loss and try to adapt to it, usually we associate the word with the physical departure of a close person, but we also live grief for those things or people who leave our life in every aspect.

People usually have different points of view, and if I am sincere the intention of this post is to unburden myself about how those opinions can affect you in such a complicated moment; and is that grief is usually associated with a short process, a few months and that paralyzes the life of any person. Also, we must take into account many stereotypes that have been formed, such as, for example, that a person with grief can not wear bright colors or attend meetings and this only makes the grief a more traumatic process.

In my case I was never prepared to face it, and it hit me like a bucket of cold water, so I reacted differently many times; if you ask me what is the worst facet of grief, I would say that it is definitely when you realize that there will be no changes and that person will not return, that you have to get used to the absences, the pain and the emptiness, that is definitely the worst moment.

I always like to write my thoughts or opinions when I have healed many things, but this time I skip the rule because there are things that take a long time to heal, grief is complicated, you can smile and even do many things but there is always a moment of breakage and every memory hurts again with intensity.

For me grief has been a process of reinvention too, because unfortunately life does not stop, you have to keep working, keep studying and maybe the first few days people worry about you but everyone carries their own torment and finally you reach a point where you stay with yourself and inevitably find new ways to move forward and reinvent yourself to move forward.

Grief is full of reality hits, at some point you break down and many times you don't talk about it, you keep doing everyday things until one day you explode hurting yourself and almost reliving the wounds, that's why I think grief can be controversial because there are so many steps that people want you to follow but at the same time you don't know where to go and on top of everything you have to live with people's comments.

If you ever wonder how to deal with grief, I wouldn't really have the answer for you, I just know that grief will never really go away, you never find a way to fully adapt to the absences and it will always hurt, even if you think you are healed, even if sometimes you remember and don't cry, it always hurts. I think that we are never the same again and grief will always be with us, it is a constant process that never goes away.
