Hive Book Club Contest #3 All About Readers [ESP/ING]

El día de hoy me decido a unirme al concurso de la comunidad en la que suelo interactuar muchísimo (Hive Book Club), y es que como he comentado en muchas ocasiones leer es una de mis pasiones más grandes; la lectura es un viaje que suelo emprender cada que puedo; me va a encantar responder estas preguntas las cuales están muy divertidas y relacionadas con la lectura y algunos hábitos que solemos desarrollar al leer.
Today I decided to join the contest of the community in which I usually interact a lot (Hive Book Club), and as I have commented on many occasions reading is one of my greatest passions; reading is a journey that I usually undertake whenever I can; I will love to answer these questions which are very fun and related to reading and some habits that we usually develop when reading.
¿Cuál es tu momento o lugar favorito para leer?
What is your favorite time or place to read?
La verdad es que si fuera por mi estaría leyendo todo el día, de hecho hubo una época en que eso hacía todo el día, pero la verdad es que en ese momento no tenía muchas responsabilidades y en vacaciones del colegio, todo lo que yo hacía era leer. Debo decir que aprendí muchísimo de tanta lectura y definitivamente me hizo crecer.
Ahora, ya tengo otras responsabilidades entonces no puedo hacerlo todo el tiempo. Al mismo tiempo me gusta leer a solas, no me gusta que me interrumpan cuando leo. Y por ello mi momento favorito sería cuando estoy completamente sola y mi mente no esta cansada. Y mi lugar favorito sería cualquiera donde pueda tener paz y tranquilidad, como mi habitación.
The truth is that if it were up to me I would be reading all day long, in fact there was a time when I did that all day long, but the truth is that at that time I didn't have many responsibilities and during school vacations, all I did was read. I must say that I learned a lot from all that reading and it definitely made me grow up.
Now, I have other responsibilities so I can't do it all the time. At the same time I like to read alone, I don't like to be interrupted when I read. And so my favorite time would be when I am completely alone and my mind is not tired. And my favorite place would be any place where I can have peace and quiet, like my room.
¿Qué te hace disfrutar de un libro?
What makes you enjoy a book?
Muchas cosas, pero la mayor causa es la trama; como se desenvuelven los acontecimientos. Aunque otro aspecto bastante importante es la forma de escribir del autor. Me ha pasado que me encuentro con libros con un gran potencial pero que no me gusta la forma de escribir y la dejo porque siento que no puedo concentrarme. Sin embargo he leído tramas simples pero muy bien escritas y me las he devorado en cuestión de horas. Así que diría que entre la trama y la prosa del escritor están los elementos que me hacen disfrutar un libro.
Many things, but the biggest cause is the plot; how the events unfold. Another important aspect is the author's writing style. It has happened to me that I come across books with great potential but I don't like the way of writing and I put it down because I feel I can't concentrate. However I have read simple but very well written plots and devoured them in a matter of hours. So I would say that between the plot and the prose of the writer are the elements that make me enjoy a book.
¿Le gusta leer al aire libre, antes de acostarse o en el autobús de camino al trabajo?
Do you like to read outdoors, before bed or on the bus on your way to work?
La verdad es que el transporte público en mi país es un desastre y casi siempre me toca ir de pie; pero recuerdo cuando tenía transporte privado que siempre llevaba un libro conmigo para el viaje. Me encanta leer al aire libre pero tengo que estar sola o todo debe estar muy en silencio.
Así que si, suelo leer antes de acostarme porque es el momento donde más paz, silencio y soledad hay. Además es el espacio donde suelo ser solo yo, ya he terminado todas mis obligaciones y responsabilidades, entonces puedo centrarme de lleno en la lectura. Es un tiempo muy personal que disfruto mucho
The truth is that public transportation in my country is a disaster and I almost always have to walk; but I remember when I had private transportation I always had a book with me for the trip. I love to read outdoors but I have to be alone or everything must be very quiet.
So yes, I usually read before going to bed because it is the time where there is the most peace, silence and solitude. It is also the space where I am usually just me, I have already finished all my obligations and responsibilities, then I can focus fully on reading. It is a very personal time that I enjoy very much.
¿Se centra en el desarrollo de los personajes, en los mensajes reflexivos o en el nivel de intriga que le genera una trama?
Do you focus on character development, thoughtful messages, or the level of intrigue a plot generates in you?
Yo diría que en las 3 cosas, pero si creo que dentro de mi hay como un nivel entre los 3 aspectos. Hay cosas en las que mi atención se va directamente y eso es la intriga que genera la trama, es para mi muy natural dejarme llevar y luego de un rato darme cuenta de que mi atención ha estado en ello toda la lectura.
Sin embargo, el desarrollo de los personajes es un aspecto que también se lleva mis pensamientos, hay libros donde la evolución de los personajes hace todo el éxito de la historia. Y en cuanto a los mensajes o las reflexiones casi siempre las tengo a lo último de la lectura, cuando ya he terminado y me coloco a reflexionar sobre todos los acontecimientos, casi siempre tengo mis propias reflexiones más allá de lo obvia que puede ser la trama.
I would say in all 3 things, but I do think that within me there is like a level between the 3 aspects. There are things where my attention goes directly and that is the intrigue that the plot generates, it is very natural for me to get carried away and after a while realize that my attention has been on it all the reading.
However, the development of the characters is an aspect that also takes my thoughts, there are books where the evolution of the characters makes all the success of the story. And as for the messages or reflections I almost always have them at the end of the reading, when I have already finished and I reflect on all the events, I almost always have my own reflections beyond the obvious that the plot may be.
Me ha encantado responder estas 4 preguntas, las he sentido bien personal pero al mismo tiempo siento que toda persona que tenga un habito de lectura dará una opinión diferente. Me encantan estos concursos donde como comunidad podemos tener un intercambio de opiniones.

The truth is that I love to read and yes, when I read a whole day; it was quite an experience, I only stopped to eat and wash up. It was my favorite pastime on vacation.

Creo que todos hemos tenido esos días de fiebre por la lectura, sobre todo cuando no tenemos muchas responsabilidades, pero después la vida adulta te va absorbiendo de tal manera que hay que robarle horas a los días para poder leer un buen libro.
