Cuando pensé y empecé a estudiar comunicación social, nunca me pasó por la cabeza que trabajaría en la misma aún sin estar a mitad de carrera, y mucho mucho menos en la radio. Les explico, desde muy pequeña, me habían gustado otros medios como el periodico e incluso la televisón, pero, realmente nunca había tenido un acercamiento real con la radio, creo que esto se debe a que yo no tenía carro y en mi casa no había radio.

Muchas de las grandes estrellas de la radio venezolana como Erika de La Vega (IDOLA), Luis Chataing, los conocí en sus programas de televisión, los cuales sigo viendo en Youtube hasta el día de hoy; con el tiempo creo que me fue dando curiosidad cómo funcionaba la radio como medio informativo e incluso de entretenimiento, porque siendo sincera veía la radio como un medio musical netamente, que también es mucho de lo que es más común en mi ciudad de origen, Cumaná.

Por supuesto, todos estamos en constante evolución, para mí iniciar la universidad me hizo evolucionar y cambiar bastante mi perspectiva, me di cuenta de que realmente la radio cambió el mundo de las comunicaciones y siempre recuerdo a una profe muy muy querida de primer semestre, quién nos hizo entender esto escuchando La Guerra de los Mundos de Orson Welles, el cual fue un capítulo radial, dónde se narraba la llegada de extraterrestres a la tierra, y causo gran revuelo en Estados Unidos, porque solo hasta el final dicen que es algo ficticio, y ahí entiendes el poder que tiene la radio como medio y la información.

Posteriormente conocí a @virginiapetit, a quien es imposible conocer y no darte cuenta que ama con todo su corazón la radio, como también les he compartido soy la productora en el programa de radio con ella, llamado Con Todo Respeto, si eres hiver y te da curiosidad ver cómo fluye esto, puedes escuchar a través de streaming, te dejare el enlace acá.

Un mes antes de empezar a trabajar, es decir, en diciembre yo empecé a empaparme de mucho contenido radial, y quede flechada fue amor a primera vista, no sabía que podía se tan divertido y libre a la vez, curiosamente, la emisora en la que trabajo, que es La Mega, tiene un estilo bastante diferente a lo que yo había hecho siempre... La mega es juventud, diversión e irreverencia y yo puedo ser un poco más seria de lo que ustedes piensan.

Sin embargo, como diria @virginiapetit, un buen periodista debe tener la capacidad de doblarse y desdoblarse, y yo estoy en camino a serlo, asi nivel bebe, pero, ya practico constantemente este consejo de mi querida virgi; con más de 50 programa producidos les puedo decir que estoy enamaorada de hacerlo, es la magia de saber como funciona todo, es la magia de pensar cómo hacer las cosas diferentes, pero, al mismo tiempo, bien... Es la magia de estar detrás de cámaras.

It's the magic of being behind the scenes.

Hacer el contenido todos los días, tomar el reto de intentar conocer algunas cosas básicas para ser mejor en cada programa, les confieso que algunas veces he hasta llorado por miedo a no ser lo suficientemenete buena, y cuando estas al aire con personas escuchandote, podemos llegar a la conclusión de que tienes la responsabilidad de que todo salga bien, la información en ese momento está en tus manos.

En este momento, es dificil para mi visualizarme sin estar en cabina con los locutores o con el operador, con ellos por una hora se siente super bonito y gratificante, es dificil para mi, en estos momentos imaginarme sin estar con la energía que solo la radio me da en estos momentos, además de todo el aprendizaje inmeso que me llevo cada día, evidentemente, no soy perfecta, pero, me la estoy pasando bien.

Doing the content every day, taking the challenge of trying to know some basic things to be better in each program, I confess that sometimes I have even cried for fear of not being good enough, and when you are on the air with people listening to you, we can come to the conclusion that you have the responsibility that everything goes well, the information at that moment is in your hands.

At this moment, it is difficult for me to visualize myself without being in the booth with the announcers or with the operator, with them for an hour feels super nice and rewarding, it is difficult for me, at this time to imagine myself without being with the energy that only the radio gives me at this time, plus all the immense learning that I take every day, obviously, I am not perfect, but, I'm having a good time.
