My opinion about Only Murders in the Building| Season 1

¿Recuerdan aquellas series de asesinatos que se hicieron famosas y que hasta el sol de hoy se repiten una y otra vez? Bueno este serie tiene un poco de esos ingredientes, la verdad es que la comencé a ver por mi cuñado, él me la recomendó y sinceramente me llamo la atención. Esta es una serie que esta disponible en Star+, este servicio de streaming no lo tenía, pero lo contratamos solo para verla, así que les traigo mi opinión sobre la misma.
Only Murders in the Building o Solo Asesinatos en el Edificio, es una serie de televisión que aborda a los vecinos del Upper West Side, también llamado Arconia, en él resaltan Charles, Oliver y Mabel; tres personalidades diferentes que comparten su amor por el crimen, así que cuando un asesinato en su edificio ocurre, los tres deciden resolver el misterio y hacer un podcast.
Do you remember those murder series that became famous and that to this day are repeated over and over again? Well this series has a bit of those ingredients, the truth is that I started watching it because of my brother in law, he recommended it to me and honestly it caught my attention. This is a series that is available on Star+, this streaming service did not have it, but we hired it just to watch it, so I bring you my opinion about it.
Only Murders in the Building is a TV series that deals with the neighbors of the Upper West Side, also called Arconia, it highlights Charles, Oliver and Mabel; three different personalities who share their love for crime, so when a murder in their building occurs, the three decide to solve the mystery and make a podcast.
Esta es una serie perfecta para las personas que disfrutan las series de crimen y además también les gusta que tengan un toque cómico, para mi era la serie perfecta y desde el primer capítulo me atrapo... Me gusta que se nos presentan diferentes historias con cada persona, muy diferente cada uno, un actor que paso a la historia, un director que fracaso y una chica extraña.
La trama comienza con el asesinato de Tim Kono, alrededor de este misterio es como nuestros personaje principales se unen, me gusta que no todos los episodios se basan en descubrir el misterio, si no que más bien, a medida que avanza podemos conocer la naturaleza y los miedos de cada uno de nuestros personajes principales, tres personajes que antes de conocerse manejaban el fracaso, la soledad y la tristeza como parte de su vida.
Hablando de los personajes, todos los principales evolucionan mucho con el tiempo, revelan sus misterios y como trio se unifican de manera que sientes que se conocen de toda la vida, la química es increíble; puedes conectar con ellos, e incluso puedes ver diferentes perspectivas de las cosas, conocer a profundidad lo que los caracteriza y sentirlos muy cercanos, realmente hicieron un gran trabajo construyéndolos.
This is a perfect series for people who enjoy crime series and also like that they have a comic touch, for me it was the perfect series and from the first chapter I got caught.... I like that we are presented with different stories with each person, very different each one, an actor who went down in history, a director who failed and a strange girl.
The plot begins with the murder of Tim Kono, around this mystery is how our main characters come together, I like that not all the episodes are based on uncovering the mystery, but rather, as it progresses we get to know the nature and fears of each of our main characters, three characters that before meeting each other handled failure, loneliness and sadness as part of their lives.
Talking about the characters, all the main ones evolve a lot over time, they reveal their mysteries and as a trio they unify in a way that you feel like they have known each other all their lives, the chemistry is incredible; you can connect with them, and you can even see different perspectives of things, know in depth what characterizes them and feel them very close, they really did a great job building them.
La serie no es completamente gráfica, es decir, podemos ver escenas un poco crudas pero al mismo tiempo se aligera con el humor, además es una serie para maratonear 100%, esta primera temporada, que es la que he visto, tiene 10 capítulos y cada uno dura alrededor de unos 30-35 minutos, perfectos para envolvernos cada vez más.
Esta es una reseña sin spoilers, pero quiero decirles, que a parte de lo que he dicho anteriormente, esta serie nos brinda bastantes giros en los acontecimientos que más de una vez giran de forma sorpresiva. También algo que me cautivaba era la dinámica de los artistas que fueron invitados y los que eran interpretados por ficción, todos nos hacían ver una realidad cruda del mundo del espectáculo: el tiempo pasa, las personas son olvidadas y muy pocos creen luego en su talento.
The series is not completely graphic, that is, we can see scenes a little crude but at the same time it is lightened with humor, it is also a series to marathon 100%, this first season, which is the one I have seen, has 10 chapters and each one lasts about 30-35 minutes, perfect to wrap us more and more.
This is a review without spoilers, but I want to tell you, that apart from what I said above, this series gives us quite a few turns of events that more than once turn in a surprising way. Also something that captivated me was the dynamic of the artists who were invited and those who were played by fiction, all of them made us see a crude reality of the show business world: time goes by, people are forgotten and very few believe in their talent.
Me encanta además como la serie se presenta, es decir, la dirección, la narración y hasta el intro se ve moderno, novedoso y aunque puede parecer que hemos visto algo así en repetidas ocasiones, diferentes ingredientes la hacen única. Es una serie muy bien construida y desarrollada, en este momento se esta transmitiendo la segunda temporada, pero aún no la he visto, pero me gusto el final aunque ahora siento que necesito muchas respuestas, el final es abierto y da paso a la trama de la segunda entrega.
En definitiva, esta es una serie que reúne demasiados instrumentos para ser una producción que no solo disfrutes si no que también ames. Tengo que hacer mención especial al capítulo 7, no quiero dar spoilers, pero ese tiene que ser uno de los mejores capítulos que alguna vez, una serie me haya brindado, todo se congenio muy bien.
Por otro lado, opino que esta es una excelente serie y que todos deberíamos ver, porque no solo investigamos un asesinato, si no que nos adentramos en una trama que desenvuelve muchos miedos, realidades y dinámicas de la vida adulta... De verdad me muero por ver la segunda temporada y poder hablarles de ella, quiero experimentar si la serie evoluciona con 10 capítulos más.
I also love how the series is presented, that is, the direction, the narration and even the intro looks modern, novel and although it may seem that we have seen something like this repeatedly, different ingredients make it unique. It is a very well constructed and developed series, at this moment the second season is being aired, but I have not seen it yet, but I liked the ending although now I feel I need a lot of answers, the ending is open and gives way to the plot of the second installment.
In short, this is a series that brings together too many instruments to be a production that you not only enjoy but also love. I have to make special mention to chapter 7, I don't want to give spoilers, but that has to be one of the best chapters that a series has ever given me, everything came together very well.
On the other hand, I think this is an excellent series and we should all watch it, because not only do we investigate a murder, but we get into a plot that unravels many fears, realities and dynamics of adult life.... I really can't wait to see the second season and be able to tell you about it, I want to experience if the series evolves with 10 more chapters.

Hace algún tiempo ví una reseña sobre esta serie. Steve Martin es uno de mis comediantes favoritos así que verlo aquí sería fenomenal. Me gusta el misterio, si más no recuerdo, la historia aborda el asesinato desde un podcast no? Jaja. Está interesante. Me apunto. La veré... Algo me dice que me gustará 🙈.
