Primer emprendimiento del año: YO SOY LA JEFA - First project of the year: I AM THE BOSS

¡Hola comunidad de emprendedores!

Este año 2024 estoy súper centrada en mi negocio. Hasta el año pasado seguía ofreciendo mis servicios como profesional independiente (freelance) pero ya no más.

Ahora voy a apostar por todas a crear todas las ideas que me han ido viniendo en los últimos años. Es un gran salto y me gustaría compartir con vosotros el proceso.

Primer activo/idea: una experiencia única en Bali sólo para mujeres

La primera vez que tuve la idea de organizar alguna clase de experiencia educativa en Bali fue en 2022. Se la propuse a una amiga que es travel influencer con el objetivo de crear algo orientado en ese sector. Sin embargo no llegó a cuajar con esta amiga así que dejé la idea aparcada.

Hasta el último trimestre del año pasado cuando rompí con mi pareja y di un giro de vida de 180 º. Ahí compartí la idea con otra amiga que conocí en Bali en 2022 y surgió la idea de crear una experiencia única para mujeres a la que decidimos llamar YO SOY LA JEFA.

Desarrollo de la idea

Puesto que mi amiga es profesora de inglés, la idea original era hacer un business training en español y en inglés. Sin embargo, unos días antes de presentarlo se me ocurrió cambiarlo completamente.

Me vino el pensamiento de hacerlo más holístico y específico en mujeres. Más la idea femenina de disfrutar creando en lugar de tanto hacer, hacer, hacer. Así que lo estuve hablando y cambiamos completamente el programa.

Mantuvimos la idea original de que cada una creara su propio proyecto el cual se va a presentar la segunda semana del programa. Sin embargo no tiene por qué sólo un proyecto de negocios. Puede ser un hogar, una familia, un estilo de vida,... cualquier cosa que cada mujer sienta que quiere crear y traer al mundo.

Porque eso es lo que hacemos las mujeres. Traemos vida al mundo. Somos creadoras, sólo que algunas veces se nos olvida con las otras muchas responsabilidades de las que solemos cargarnos.

Por eso este viaje es para crear y disfrutar. Para disfrutar creando y también de la compañía de otras mujeres en una isla que nos permite vivir como las jefas que somos.

Creación del programa

La creación del programa en realidad fue muy fácil. Teniendo en cuenta que mi amiga vive en Bali y yo también he vivido allí anteriormente, nos conocemos la isla muy bien y, yo personalmente, me conozco especialmente bien todos los sitios a los que les gustan ir a los expats/turistas.

El contenido del programa fue lo que tuvimos que reestructurar a última hora pero que he de decir que estoy mucho más satisfecha y feliz con la última versión. De forma resumida os cuento en qué consiste cada día:

• Día 1: Llegada y círculo de bienvenida
• Día 2: Exploración de la energía creativa a través de la pintura y escritura.
• Día 3: Salud.
• Día 4: Dinero y negocios
• Día 5: Imagen personal + shopping
• Día 6: Amor y sexo + salida nocturna puesto que es viernes
• Día 7: Descanso - finalización proyecto
• Día 8: Festival de domingo que incluye yoga, ecstatic dance, sound healing, pool, spa,..
• Día 9: Salón de belleza + Presentación Proyecto + Phostoshoot
• Día 10: Viaje a Ubud
• Dia 11: Chill & Relax en la villa que hemos alquilado
• Día 12: Despedida

Finanzas y legalidades

Otra cosa muy importante es tener los visados adecuados de trabajo para realizar la actividad y estimar los costes para así poder estipular precios.

Una vez hecha la estimación de todos los gastos, calculamos 3 bandas de precio para vender las plazas. Nos interesa que las reservas se hagan cuanto antes para así poder ir gestionando los visados de trabajo y demás cosas. Hay que tener en cuenta que el viaje es en junio por lo que es importante poner incentivos para que las reservas se hagan en las fechas que nos interesan.

Ventas

En esa es la parte en la que estamos. Para ello lo primero que hice fue publicar en las redes que estaba haciendo un viaje a Bali solo para mujeres y que quien estuviera interesada que me rellenara un formulario para inscribirse en la llamada donde íbamos a contar todo.

Nuestra idea original era hacerlo sólo en español. A mi se me pasó por la cabeza hacerlo también en inglés y justo unos minutos más tarde después de ese pensamiento me meto en Instagram y veo que una mujer de California me ha escrito porque ha visto el video y le ha interesa venir pero tenía miedo por el idioma.

Ahí mi amiga y yo estuvimos dudando aunque en realidad para mi fue claro. Todas las mujeres españolas que habían manifestado su interés en el viaje también hablan inglés. Además es que de mi entorno y sobre todo eso, gente viajera que conozco y que es nuestro público objetivo, hablan inglés. Adicionalmente eso a nosotras nos abre también muchas más posibilidades.

Y todo lo que teníamos que hacer era traducir la presentación y hacerla también en inglés. Por un lado ha sido más trabajo, pero por otro ya tenemos todo el contenido audiovisual montado para seguir vendiendo.

Fase actual

Aún estamos en el proceso de venta. Hay mujeres interesadas con las que estamos hablando, algunas ya nos han confirmado y lo que queda es seguir vendiendo las plazas restantes, contactando a mujeres y respondiendo las dudas y haciendo un seguimiento de las que ya han expresado su interés.

En total son 8 plazas, así que estamos bastantes optimistas con que se van a llenar pronto 😊

Este es el primer emprendimiento de 2024 que he arrancado en enero. En febrero arranco mi segundo que es el primer programa de coaching grupal que haré de 3 meses. En otro post os explicaré el procedimiento y qué tal va.

This year 2024 I am super focused on my business. Until last year I was still offering my services as a freelance professional but not anymore.

Now I'm going to go all in and create all the ideas that have been coming to me in the last few years. It's a big leap and I'd like to share with you the process.

First asset/idea: a unique experience in Bali for women only

I first had the idea to organize some kind of educational experience in Bali in 2022. I proposed it to a friend who is a travel influencer with the goal of creating something targeted in that sector. However, it didn't work out with this friend so I put the idea on hold.

Until the last quarter of last year when I broke up with my partner and made a 180º turn in my life. Then I shared the idea with another friend I met in Bali in 2022 and came up with the idea of creating a unique experience for women which we decided to call I AM THE BOSS.

Development of the idea

Since my friend is an English teacher, the original idea was to do a business training in Spanish and English. However, a few days before presenting it, it occurred to me to change it completely.

The thought came to me to make it more holistic and specific to women. More the feminine idea of enjoying creating instead of doing, doing, doing. So I was talking about it and we completely changed the program.

We kept the original idea of each one creating her own project which will be presented the second week of the program. However, it doesn't have to be just a business project. It can be a home, a family, a lifestyle,.... whatever each woman feels she wants to create and bring into the world.

Because that's what we women do. We bring life into the world. We are creators, it's just that sometimes we forget with the many other responsibilities we tend to burden ourselves with.

That's why this trip is to create and to enjoy. To enjoy creating and also to enjoy the company of other women on an island that allows us to live like the bosses that we are.

Creation of the program

The creation of the program was actually very easy. Since my friend lives in Bali and I have also lived there before, we know the island very well and I personally know especially well all the places expats/tourists like to go.

The content of the program was what we had to restructure at the last minute but I have to say that I am much more satisfied and happy with the latest version. In short, I will tell you what each day consists of:

• Day 1: Arrival and welcome circle
• Day 2: Exploration of creative energy through painting and writing.
• Day 3: Health.
• Day 4: Money and business
• Day 5: Personal image + shopping
• Day 6: Love and sex + night out as it is Friday
• Day 7: Rest - project completion
• Day 8: Sunday Festival including yoga, ecstatic dance, sound healing, pool, spa,...
• Day 9: Beauty salon + Project presentation + Phostoshoot
• Day 10: Trip to Ubud
• Day 11: Chill & Relax in our rented villa
• Day 12: Farewell

Finances and legalities

Another very important thing is to have the proper work visas to carry out the activity and to estimate the costs in order to stipulate prices.

Once the estimation of all the costs is done, we calculate 3 price bands to sell the places. We are interested that the reservations are made as soon as possible in order to be able to manage the work visas and other things. We have to take into account that the trip is in June so it is important to put incentives so that the reservations are made on the dates we are interested in.

Sales

That is the part we are in. The first thing I did was to publish in the networks that I was doing a trip to Bali only for women and that whoever was interested should fill out a form to sign up for the call where we were going to tell everything.

Our original idea was to do it only in Spanish. It crossed my mind to do it also in English and just a few minutes later after that thought I got on Instagram and saw that a woman from California had written me because she had seen the video and was interested in coming but she was afraid because of the language.

There my friend and I were hesitating although in reality for me it was clear. All the Spanish women who had expressed their interest in the trip also speak English. In addition, the people around me, especially the travelers I know and who are our target audience, speak English. Additionally, this opens up many more possibilities for us.

And all we had to do was to translate the presentation and make it in English as well. On the one hand it has been more work, but on the other hand we already have all the audio-visual content set up to continue selling.

Current phase

We are still in the process of selling. There are women interested with whom we are talking, some have already confirmed and what remains is to continue selling the remaining places, contacting women and answering questions and following up with those who have already expressed interest.

In total there are 8 spots, so we are quite optimistic that they will be filled soon 😊.

This is the first venture of 2024 that I started in January. In February I start my second one which is the first group coaching program that I will do for 3 months. In another post I will explain you the procedure and how it goes.
