Walk in Koh Phangan - How did I get here?

Now I am in Koh Phangan, Thailand. Usually my walks are early in the morning. I get up and ready to go to a nice place for my coffee and croissant. This is a nice island to walk since you have amazing views, but is also more challenging since there are many hills and is hot.

For that reason I try to walk early in the morning since is more fresh and the sun is not burning yet. Today we went to a quiet beach that we like to go in the south. In our way we stop in a place where they cook bananas in the grill accompanied with delicious coconut milk.

At noon, on the way back I asked my boyfriend to stop at Uncle Café: a place that I like to go for coffee and writing on my book or just chilling.

What I didn't think ahead is that on the way back it was going to be very hot. I think it was around 3 pm when I decided to come back to the guesthouse we are atm.

It was very hot and I had to go up a hill. I also didn't have anything to cover my head. I was going up looking at the top thinking that I'll stop there to drink and water and breathe. When I was almost at the point I set myself to stop, I look at my left and I see this:

Two chairs and a table under the shade of a tree with the ocean as a background. It was clearly calling so without hesitating I go there to sit and take the bottle of water from my backpack. After recuperating the breath, I look around and I see that is a resort with a restaurant AND that there is a infinite pool clearly calling me.

There were not many people at the pool, only 3 and 2 were getting out. In the time I was sitting there nobody came to check on me, I was wearing a bikini and the places they had to lay down in the water on the left side on the pool were calling me. So I decided to go down and get in the pool.

The places to lay down were not as comfortable as they looked so as the only person who were in the big side of the pool was getting out, I went in and really enjoyed myself. I felt like a child. I was super thankful for the fresh water in my body with palms and ocean views.

After a while I noticed that one of the workers of the place was looking at me so I got out of the pool. He asked if I wanted to order something, I said a coconut and then he said that for people from outside to swim in the pool the minimum order was 200 BHT (the coconut was 80 BHT). I told him that I didn't know at the beginning and he didn't argue so I found a nice spot to enjoy my coconut and rehidrate to continue my way.

For the last 17 min walking remaining I put the wet towel I used to dry from my bath in my head. So after a swim, a coconut and an improvised wet hat, I was ready to arrive home without fainting 😁
