Splinterlands Land Update Episode 7 with the Weekly Market Report - 1/21/24
Good morning Praetorians!!
Last week when I wrote up my Land Update, we had reached the HALFWAY mark of Tract 4 in Region 139 - Shadowvale!!!
That's right 50 Plots had been claimed and many had been surveyed!
Which means we must pick up where we left off but before we join Field Me out in the Wild and Untamed Regions of the world...
...let's take a look at the Land Overview tab to get a "top down" view of Praetoria and see if we can get a feel for what's happened over the past week!!
It appears from the desk that we've had a bit of action out there in (R139) Virren but Field Me seems to be absolutely SHAKING with excitement and giddy energy... I wonder why he is so excited today...
Instead of wondering, we're going to go live to (R139) Virren, Field Me... How's it looking out there and would you please tell us why you look like a Millennial who just had their first dose of Adderall???

I am excited to show you some BIG developments this week - I know it may not look like it from the Land Overview but... WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE IT!!

The next Region was R140 - Doom Edin
The next Tract, was R139 - Virren: Tract 005
The next Plot, was Tract 04: Plot 051
However, @dadicus has still yet to Survey the majority of the Tract they claimed (Tract 03) and it is not listed for sale on the market... I wonder what they are up to... 🤔
In addition, there were no Tracts Claimed/Surveyed and @deer3 still hasn't done anything with their Region (the last Unclaimed Region)
Let's start our journey there and see if that sold or if they've done something different with it!

P052 is owned by @losgemanos and they found a (R) Caldera out here in the Volcano that dominates the geography of Tract 04 in (R139) Virren.
P053 is another Common Natty Caldera that was picked up by @kingdip - be careful building your Shard Mine... you know... with all the lava out there Kingdip, but congratulations on your new land!
P054 is a Common Natty Baddy that was picked up by @xvaxz during the week - they haven't started building anything just yet... but I suspect they will soon!
P055 is Thaag again... They sure are buying up a lot of Plots out here in (R139) Virren 🤔 This one lies dormant but we will check back for updates I'm sure!
Plot 056 is... the reason I am so excited to type this up today...
Thaag you lucky dog you... You SONOFAGUN!!!! YOU MASTER OF THE MAGMA!!!! YOU LOOOOOOORD OF THE LAVA!!!!!!!!
Let us leave Thaag to set up their Keep in peace and continue our journey in Tract 04...
Setting out from the Keep... we approach Plot 056...
Plot 057 is a (C) Natural Caldera picked up by @wulfinite - congrats wulf!! I know it's not as exciting as a Keep... but congratulations nonetheless!! Please let us know once you develop it!
P058 is also Wulfinite - they haven't started construction on this one either... I bet they're planning something big though!!
We'll be sure to check back to see what is done with this Badlands as wulfnite hasn't started building anything here yet, either...
P060 is another wulfnite property although not nearly as awesome as the previous - it is still a Land here in Praetoria and that's pretty rare 1/150,000 in the entire system... This one is (C)[N]Caldera and is left barren.
P061 is also a (C)[N] Caldera but this one is owned by @sergiobirras!! Hey that's a new name here!! Congratulations Sergio!
P062 takes us across the Lava Lake to another (C)[N] Caldera but this one is also owned by a new face in Tract 04: @oceanbee!! Congrats Oceanbee!!
We see you have somehow managed to construct a GRAIN FARM out in the Lava... while we aren't certain how that works - you know... PHYSICS and all...
P063 feels funny... it feels TINGLY... like the tips of my fingers are slightly numb and my hairs stand on end...
P064's owner is another newcomer to Virren: @rievserg! Congrats on your new (C)[N] Caldera and we can't wait to see what you build!
P065 in is... hold on... do you feel that... MORE Tingles???
Yes! Plot 65 is another Magic Land... This one is a (C) Magic [Fire] Caldera picked up by Rievserg!!
Nice work rievserg - snagging a (C) Plot followed by a sweet Magic Plot!! Let us know what you build!!
P066 is rievserg again!! I see you scooping up some real estate out here in the Volcano... This one is a (R)[N] Caldera and nothing is built... yet.
P067 is another rievserg property and it too is a Rare! This is a splendid find, a (R)[N] Caldera!! Great work on these - let's see what's next!
P068 is ANOTHER RARE?? Wow rievserg... scooping up that good land I see!! P68 is a (R)[N] Caldera and much like the Volcano we're in... it too is dormant for the time being...
This time they snag another (R)[N] Caldera!! That's makes 4 Rare+ Plots in a row!!
Plot 070 is next and you're not going to believe it... ANOTHER RARE!!! This one is a (R)[N] Caldera owned by @thanthai - congratulations thanthai and nice find!!
Plot 071 is the next plot and our final Plot for the week...
P071 is... ohhhhhhh man... so many Rare+ Plots in a row... Plot 071 has been Claimed and Surveyed by @splinterjuice!!

- THE KEEP IN TRACT 04 OF VIRREN HAS BEEN FOUND - CONGRATS THAAG!!
- THERE IS ANOTHER CASTLE FOR SALE!!!!
- We had 21 Plots Claimed/Surveyed in Virren's Tract 04 and the next Tract available is still R139: Tract 05.
- Land Markets are seeing an increased supply across the board with falling prices for almost everything - this is probably due to the broader Crypto Markets
- There are some good deals out there for cheap real estate!
- We are in Region 139 Tract 04 Plot 071... Which means we have 11 remaining Regions left... or 116 total Tracts... or only 11,529 remaining PLOTS!
- Land 2.0 will stir things up as only certain buildings can be build on certain land!! This is probably one of the driving factors behind Land Price volatility...

i got lucky felt like i would get a magic plot and got that dragon one pull just like i got my legendary plot. Deff over paid for my keep at 4k but it was a while ago and i deff could have got it cheaper but i wasnt paying attention and someone jacked the price i thought it was decent but my fault for not looking could have got it half of that .
