My Cleaning for Today 30th April, 2024.

Hello my dear friends in the @cleanplanet community. Today is another great day for me and I hope we are all having great times in our different environments. "Cleanliness is next to godliness", the quote that rings in my brain every time I engage in my activity.

Last Sunday was a very interesting one as there was a special service. A child naming ceremony which made the whole street busy. Due to the celebration there was a lot of eating and drinking. Most of the wraps were dropped off by people who I am sure weren't conscious of the need to maintain a clean planet.

So I decided to visit Church Road and did my cleaning activity. I picked up different edible wraps and plastic bottles of different soft drinks. I had to engage in the picking activity this morning because I had an early morning lecture to attend.

Each of the wraps and plastic bottles picked were being put in my picking bag.

I picked till the bag was full then I returned and placed the bag in the container we often drop our refuse for the hired laborers who come most times on the weekend to get the waste disposed of.

This is how my cleaning activity went through today and I hope we will all endeavor to engage in activities to keep our environment and planet as whole clean.
