Teach your kids about self-respect
As for me i believe that Self-respect is underrated in many places and many families..
Self-respect is when an individual is confidence or his or own worth and abilities , when they believe in the power of integrity , when they will never allow anyone to ruin their emotional states such as their triumph , their despair , their pride, their shame , their joy, their success , their goals etc..
Self-respect is when you stand firm on your integrity no matter how good or bad the situation around is , self-respect is when you are emotionally and psychologically prepared to always hold on to the truth no matter what offer you get from someone or people..
As a mother or parents as a whole, we should learn to teach our kids the importance of self-respect , we should make them understand why they need to always be someone who have integrity , someone that will always be a person who stands for the truth , someone who will not lie before they can achieve success , someone who will never attempt to hurt others for his or her own selfish gains..
I see alot of moral decadence going on in the society , I see so many people especially the young ones who are now engaging in so many wrong acts just because they want to achieve some certain goals , that is why we need to start teaching them about self-respect before it becomes too late..

It is indeed vital to teach children of self-respect and the importance of it and all other virtues. I heard sometime ago the like common sense, good values are becoming extinct.
