What reasons can there be for deciding to study philosophy?

Of course there are multiple reasons to have within our options to study this discipline, however there is a very peculiar one that allows us to learn and educate ourselves in an integral way and thus to be able to reach conclusions that hardly under another environment we would be able to consider.

Let us analyze the current perspective that philosophy lives in the educational field, philosophy in some way or another has been pressured in the fact that it can demonstrate some real utility, it has also been forgotten and even undervalued by the educational systems, however when we study the history of philosophy and its foundations, we realize that this discipline really does have a value as a primary source for the educational formation at all levels. The other thing that adds a special value to the fact that I studied philosophy is the fact that with this discipline we can learn intellectual skills that we can hardly learn with other disciplines.

Philosophy for example complements us in the scientific knowledge, since it allows us a correct interpretation of the data obtained through the scientific method, once obtained the results through the scientific method, what really allows us to address in the work of giving a fairly accurate conclusion is the fact of acting with knowledge of philosophy, on the other hand the philosophical knowledge also allows us to make an accurate diagnosis of whether the hypotheses that we raise are correct or not.

The conclusion we can draw from this article is that if philosophy is the mother of all sciences, even if it has lost prominence, if we scrutinize well we will always find infinite reasons that lead us to think that we can not only study and benefit from it, but it is a discipline that should be included in the school curriculum at all levels, since it is essential to complement a transformative education and that gives a significant role to the fact that the student can constantly activate his thinking.
