Finding Happiness Within Even In The Troubling Times

I won't be missing words if I say that we humans know how to draw peace from within us even when we are down with so much weighing us down and giving us thousands and one reason why we shouldn't be happy and why we don't deserve happiness and that is one thing, I am always overly grateful to God our creator for, the ability He gave to all humans to be able to scale through with joy and triumphant even in their darkest places.

This ability can not be found in the other creatures he created because He created us uniquely and in the most special way we can ever think or imagine although most of us fail to see and perceive this and this is why we hear people committing suicide or giving up on life because of what they are going through.

In a world full of cruelty and disharmony, chaos, and uncertainties, we should choose happiness over everything because it helps keep our sanity in check because challenges, chaos, hurts, pains uncertainty, disharmony, and cruelty aren't going to ever stop as long as we are in this world and prioritizing happiness over everything is going to help us keep going amidst all these things.

Being able to see the good in every bad situation presented to me is what has kept me going.

I tell people I am a worshipper, and I say that without missing words, and that has helped me scale through difficult times because I learn to find inner peace in the beautiful nature and beautiful people I am surrounded with.

I learn to find peace in the ability to wake up and sleep because I believe and understand that every day is an opportunity we are given to choose and I choose regardless of the struggles to keep moving.

I never forget to give thanks and praise to God for the things He has done and will do even in my situation and also believing that He will perfect all that concerns me.

Any gesture as a sign of love from people no matter how little or unimportant it may seem makes me happy, it doesn't care about the size but what warms my heart more is knowing that I have people who love me genuinely regardless of my flaws.

I have a particular friend who I can always makes it a point of duty to call me especially when I am faced with important decisions.

She makes it a point of duty to call me whenever I tell her about a critical decision I am about to take or challenges I am faced with.

And her calls not only make me happy but they keep me pushing because I know I have someone who believes in me.

I remember when I felt bad because a particular person refuses to congratulate me after I got good grades for an impromptu exam I never planned about. Getting a compliment or words of praise about how well I have done means so much to me than even the good results or the job, especially from people close to me.

Many times, I have found myself jumping around like a child and smiling around like a child whose mother bought her, her favourite cookies and that can only happen when I receive an act of kindness, especially in cash, or food, fruits, or junk I love.

I feel so much joy whenever someone calls to check up on me and perhaps give me a listening ear because I do not talk much about myself.

As I have emphasized, happiness can be created, I learn to face the positive side of life regardless of the situation I am in because it allows me to breathe even when the room is stuffy.
