This series has been around for a long time and has seen various remakes and even remasters—even though the original story comes from a book. I remember Heidi becoming incredibly famous in my country during my teenage years, just like Candy and Marco; they were all shows that defined an era. For its part, Heidi carries an air of nostalgia that speaks to us of deep roots in one's homeland, of innocence and naivety, but also of gratitude and a sense of belonging. She is a girl from the Swiss Alps accustomed to a modest mountain life—happy above all else because she needs no luxuries, only her humble straw bed, the fresh mountain air, and her sweet grandfather.
Esta serie tiene ya muchísimos años y ha sido reversionada y hasta remasterizada a pesar de que la historia original se trata de un libro, yo recuerdo que Heidi se hizo muy famosa en mi país durante la época de mi adolescencia al igual que Candy y Marco, todas fueron series que marcaron una era. Heidi por su parte tiene un aire de nostalgia que nos habla de arraigo al lugar de origen, nos habla de inocencia, ingenuidad pero también de agradecimiento y sentid de pertenencia. Una niña que proviene de los Alpes suizos y que está acostumbrada a una vida modesta de montaña y que es feliz por encima de todo porque no necesita lujos, solo su humilde cama de paja, el aire fresco de las montañas y su dulce abuelito.
A chapter that encapsulates all of this is the one where Heidi returns to the Alps after having been practically abducted by her aunt and taken to Germany to serve as a companion to a girl named Clara. Heidi got along very well with Clara and learned a great deal—especially about reading and writing—yet she lived in a state of deep sadness and melancholy because she felt she did not belong there; consequently, the scene of her eventual return to the Alps became iconic and unforgettable—it is impossible not to shed tears at the dialogue, the setting, and everything involved. This is especially true later on, when her voice breaks as she tells her grandfather that, among all the things she had missed, he was the one she longed for most—her most cherished treasure.
Una capítulo que resume todo esto es ese donde Heidi vuelve a las montañas de los Alpes después de haber sido prácticamente raptada por su tía y llevada a vivir a Alemania para ser dama de compañía de una niña llamada Clara. Heidi se la llevaba muy bien con Clara y aprendió mucho sobre cultura general y en especial sobre lectura y escritura, pero vivía llena de tristeza y melancolía porque sentía que no pertenecía a ese lugar, así que cuando finalmente regresa a los Alpes junto a su abuelita esa escena se volvió icónica y memorable, imposible no soltar lágrimas, el dialogo, la escena, todo, y más adelante cuando a ella se le vuelve a quebrar la voz al contarle a su abuelo que entre todas las cosas que le faltaban estaba él, es decir su tesoro más preciado.
Heidi offers many lessons—chief among them humility, love for one's homeland and loved ones, and the importance of cherishing the simple things that ultimately matter most. It is a story about faith and hope, resilience and hard work, and the value of friendship. Who could forget, for instance, the scenes where Peter and Heidi help Clara with the exercises that enable her to walk again? These stories were defined by countless positive and wonderful elements, which is why they became unforgettable and true anime classics.
Heidi tiene muchas enseñanzas, principalmente la humildad, el amor por tu tierra y por los tuyos, el hecho de valorar las cosas más simples que a final de cuentas son lo que más importa, es una historia que nos habla de fe y esperanza, de resiliencia y trabajo duro, habla sobre valorar la amistad. ¿Cómo olvidar por ejemplo las escenas donde Pedro y Heidi ayudan a Clara con sus ejercicios para que ella vuelva a caminar? Definitivamente estas historias estaban marcadas por un sin fin de cosas positivas y maravillosas que por eso se hicieron inolvidables y verdaderos clásicos del anime.

No recuerdo casi nada de este anime, pero quién no conoce a Heidi actualmente? Es de los primeros animes que uno -inocentemente- ha visto en su momento cuando era pequeño o más joven.
