Barbie, Dream House: Enjoy The Tour [ENG/ESP]

Hello to everyone in the Toys on Hive community! Today I present with much enthusiasm my Barbie dollhouse, "Casa de los Sueños", a little house that was launched around 2005 and that I received as a Christmas present from my parents. Here I tell you all about it and how it came to me. Let's start!

Barbie Dream House was a dollhouse that when I was little I asked for for Christmas. I have always liked Barbie dolls and if there is something I remember very well is that my parents would try to bring me and my sister one of those dolls every Christmas. I have a big collection but something I always wanted was a little house to play with them and you can't imagine how happy I was when I saw that among the gifts was finally my dream house.

El día de hoy presento con mucho entusiasmo mi casa de muñecas Barbie, "Casa de los Sueños", una casita que se lanzó por el año 2005 y que recibí como regalo de Navidad por parte de mis padres. Aquí les cuento todo sobre ella y como llego a mí ¡Comencemos!

Barbie Casa de los Sueños fue una casita de muñecas que cuando estaba pequeña pedí para Navidad. Siempre me han gusta las muñecas Barbie y si hay algo que recuerdo muy bien es que mis padres en cada Navidad intentaban traernos a mi hermana y a mí, alguna muñeca de esas. Tengo una gran colección pero algo que siempre quise era una casita para jugar con ellas y no pueden imaginar la felicidad que tuve cuando ví que entre los regalos estaba por fin mi casa soñada.

That afternoon I remember that my sister, my dad and I were building the house from scratch. It was an unforgettable December 25th. There were many parts that were part of the structure of the house, such as the part of the roof that came unattached. The house is made up of three spaces: the kitchen/dining room, the bathroom and the living room/bedroom. It also brought some small pieces such as: 2 plates, 2 sets of silverware, 2 salt shakers, a vase and its flowers, 2 glasses, a foot, a roast chicken, cotufas, ice cream, milk, eggs, cereal, 3 pieces of kitchenware (frying pan, pot and spatula), soap powder, 2 toilet brushes, bar soap, paper toallet, wet wipes, toothbrush, dryer, telephone, remote control, two small rugs, playing cards, 3 curtains (2 for the living room and one for the bathroom), a sheet, pillow, dining table and two chairs, a coffee table, television, and a sofa that converts into a bed.

I must say that I loved this house so much that hopefully I managed to keep all the pieces of the house. I only lost the remote control (that same December 25, 2005). The two armchairs are at my mother's house and I keep them along with other dolls. So I am happy to have practically the whole house in good condition. As a child I did not know how to take good care of my dolls because although I did not break them or outrage them, I did not comb their hair and I used to lose their clothes and other pieces.

Esa tarde recuerdo que mi hermana, mi papá y yo estuvimos armando desde cero la casa. Fue un 25 de Diciembre inolvidable. Venían muchísimas partes que forman parte de la estructura de la casa, como la parte del techo que venía sin unir. La casa se constituye en tres espacios: la cocina/comedor, el baño y la sala/dormitorio. Traía además algunas piezas pequeñas como: 2 platos, 2 juegos de cubiertos, 2 saleros, un florero y sus flores, 2 vasos, un pie, un pollo asado, cotufas, helado, leche, huevos, cereal, 3 piezas de cocina (sartén, olla y espátula), jabón en polvo, 2 cepilla para el baño, jabón en barra, papel toallet, pañitos húmedos, cepillo dental, secadora, teléfono, control remoto, dos alfombras pequeñas, cartas, 3 cortinas (2 para la sala y una para el baño) una sábana, almohada, mesa comedor y dos sillas, una mesa de café, televisor, y un sofá convertible en cama.

Debo decir que adoraba tanto esta casa que con suerte logré conservar todas las piezas de la casa. Solo perdí el control remoto (ese mismo 25 de diciembre de 2005). Los dos sillones están en la casa de mi madre y los guardo junto a otras muñecas. Por lo cual me siento feliz de tener prácticamente toda la casita en buen estado. De niña no sabía cuidar mucho mis muñecas pues aunque no las rompía o ultrajaba, no peinaba sus cabellos y se me solían perder sus ropas y otras piezas.

This house was in my mother's house for some years and recently I went to look for it. It was in a more or less bad state because of dust and dirt. I had to clean every area of the house very well, as well as the objects and restore my doll since her hair was damaged by the hair ties. I spent a few days getting everything back to its original state and finally these are the results. I didn't take before pictures because I didn't plan to upload the content here but I think it's worth to upload this memory.

Finally my friends, I hope you enjoyed this brief tour of Barbie's house. I value it very much and although most of my toys I have donated and others are kept at my mother's house, I hope that in the future this will be the house of one of my daughters since I can't give it away so easily, it has a lot of sentimental warmth for me. And I hope you can also tell me if you remember anything about this house or if you have a particular story similar to this one. I think toys are an important part of any child's childhood and now as adults, having the opportunity to see them again is invaluable. Thank you very much for stopping by and a big hug.

Está casa estuvo en casa de mi madre por algunos años y hace poco la fui a buscar. Estaba en un estado más o menos mal por el polvo y la suciedad. Tuve que limpiar muy bien cada zona de la casa, así como los objetos y restaurar mi muñeca ya que su cabello estaba maltratado por las ligas del peinado. Estuve algunos días dejando que todo quedará de nuevo en su estado original y finalmente estos son los resultados. No tome fotos de antes porque no tenía planeado subir el contenido por aquí pero creo que vale la pena subir este recuerdo.

Finalmente amigos míos, espero que hayan disfrutado este breve recorrido por la casa de Barbie. La valoro mucho y aunque la mayoría de mis jueguetes los he donado y otros se mantienen en casa de mi madre, espero que en el futuro está sea la casita de alguna de mis hijas ya que no puedo darla tan fácilmente, tiene mucho calor sentimental para mí. Y espero que por acá también me comenten si recuerdan algo sobre esta casa o si tienen una historia particular y similar a esta. Creo que los juguetes forman parte importante de la infancia de cualquier niño y ahora como adultos, volver a tener la oportunidad de verlos es invaluable. Algo que siempre me gusto de estos juguetes son los detalles y las miniaturas de la casa, es algo que super aprecio en general, los detalles de las cosas se ven geniales y las fotos que compartiste son muyu buenas para poder ver todo lo que tiene
