Como podemos ver ya enero está finalizando, ya todos estamos pasando del tiempo hermoso de la navidad y abrimos las puertas al caluroso febrero y su ambiente carnestolendo. ¡Ah! Pero febrero también nos trae algo muy bonito para todos los que estamos enamorados del amor. Así es, enamorados de todo aquello que nos transmita ternura, cariño, alegría, felicidad.

Este diseño tiene su historia, no lo inventé yo; recuerdo que una vez llegó mi hermana Gloria a casa con este paño y a mí me encantó, sobre todo por la combinación de colores lila. Ella me contó que se lo había enviado una prima de su esposo que vive en la Isla de Margarita. En aquel momento yo estaba con la fiebre del tejido y bordado ¡sí! ¡Ambos a la vez! Así que de inmediato le hice una fotografía mental y apenas pude lo repliqué con la palabra amor y se lo regalé a mi mamá, ya que lo hice pensando en ella y en su color preferido.

This design has its history, I did not invent it; I remember that once my sister Gloria came home with this cloth and I loved it, especially for the lilac color combination. She told me that a cousin of her husband's who lives on Margarita Island had sent it to her. At that time I was in the knitting and embroidery fever, yes, both at the same time! So I immediately took a mental picture of it and as soon as I could I replicated it with the word love and gave it to my mom, since I made it thinking of her and her favorite color.

Desde entonces los he hecho de mil colores, de mil formas, con bordados en cinta, con crochet, con nombres o palabras lindas, mensajes cortos o largos. La verdad es que estos paños dan para eso y mucho más.

Me gustaría contarles un poco de cómo lo hice por si se animan a realizarlo en estas fechas de san Valentín.

Since then I have made them in a thousand colors, in a thousand shapes, with ribbon embroidery, with crochet, with names or beautiful words, short or long messages. The truth is that these cloths can do that and much more.

Tengo la suerte de haber cosechado una lindas amistades en este 2023, haber salido de casa y hacer ejercicios con este maravilloso grupo me ha dado la oportunidad de conocer chicas maravillosas que me han brindado alegrías, afecto, cariño. Así que espero poder dar unos cuantos detalles este año.

Espero poder llegar a la fecha con mi entrada para el concurso y espero ver muchas cosas lindas hechas por ustedes también; así que ¡anímense!
