Las flores fueron creadas por Dios para decorar la tierra, embellecerla y ponerle color y felicidad. A las flores les han dedicado poemas, canciones; grandes pintores han dedicado su tiempo para crear obras magnificas que luego decoraran para toda la vida un lugar. Y que me dicen de la gastronomía que usa todo su potencial para dar aroma y sabor a excelentes platos. Muchas mujeres llevamos sus nombres Rosa, Margarita, Iris, Jazmín. ¿Quién de ustedes lindas chicas de esta plataforma no ha caído derretida cuando nos regalan una flor? Se siente una como en las nubes por recibir ese tipo de detalles que denota ternura, cariño y muchos sentimientos más.

    Pues nosotras las manualistas no nos quedamos atrás donde quiera que vamos y cualquier cosa que hacemos todo lleva una flor. Nos encanta decorar con ellas todo lo que hacemos. Las hacemos tejidas, bordadas, en costura o en manualidades como el foami o cartón.

    Definitivamente las flores nos trasmiten cosas bonitas, por eso es muy importante saber que las flores que elegimos para regalar representan cariño, amor, amistad y hasta deseo, por lo que al momento de elegir debemos hacerlo pensando en lo que queremos expresar.

Mi motivo

    Hoy quiero contarles que he elaborado o más bien debo decir que he redecorado esta gorra para regalársela a mi querida amiga Johana a quien pronto estaré visitando allá en mi tierra andina y quiero llevarle y sencillo presente hecho con mis propias manos y con esto transmitirle el gran aprecio que le tengo. También me gustaría hacerle sentir que a pesar del tiempo y la distancia siempre está muy cerquita de mi corazón y que la quiero mucho.

    Para este presente he querido elaborar unas lindas flores que representa ese jardín donde muchas veces jugamos de niñas y fuimos muy felices. Además las quise hacer de todos colores porque para mí tiene un gran significado, los colores son alegría y eso es mi amiga Johana, es risa, bromas, juventud, animo.

    A Johana le gustan mucho las gorras por eso quise regalarle una nueva y además quiero hacerle un tapabocas del mismo color que pronto se los estaré mostrando cuando lo termine.

La técnica

    Para los que no conocen esta técnica que vamos a utilizar se llama Bordado en cinta, es una técnica fácil de hacer y consta de 12 puntadas básicas. Se puede elaborar sobre cualquier tela y sirve para decorar toallas, juegos de baño, lencería de bebé, de cocina, cortinas, vestidos y mucho más. Como ejemplo les muestro esta sencilla gorra, que antes estaba allí en una gaveta sin que nadie la utilizara ya que tiene una marca de empresa. Ahora le estamos dando una segunda oportunidad y sin más preámbulo los invito a conocer el paso a paso.

Materiales que vamos a utilizar

• Gorra
• Cintas especiales para bordar de todos tamaños.
• aguja punta redonda #16
• aguja e hilo.

Paso a paso

Enhebrado de la aguja

    Metemos la cinta dentro del agujero, con la aguja pinchamos en la esquina de un extremo de la cinta y atravesamos para hacer el primer ajuste. Luego en los otros extremos doblamos un poquito la punta de la cinta y atravesamos con la aguja hasta traspasar toda la cinta, de esta forma se formará un nudo especial para comenzar a trabajar.

Flor de estrella

    Para hacer estas flores debemos marcar primero donde queremos la flor, para eso debemos tener claro que diseño vamos a dibujar. En internet puedes conseguir un montón de diseños y patrones que te pueden dar una idea y ampliar tu visión para obtener un mejor resultado.

    Marcamos una flor o estrella de cinco puntas, colocamos unas puntadas largas con aguja e hilo, luego metemos la cinta en el medio y comenzamos a pasar en forma envolvente una por arriba y otra por debajo como se puede notar en la imagen.

De lo que decía antes, ya no queda nada.

    ¡Yuuupiiiii! ni se imaginan como me siento después de este resultado, confieso que la tela me dio un poquito e trabajo pus es algo gruesa (típico de las gorras) pero ahora que la veo y me la puse no puedo esperar a que mi amiga la vea. Espero que les haya gustado y que si tienen alguna pieza por allí, sea lo que sea que merezca una segunda oportunidad no duden en hacer algo como esto.

My motive

Today I want to tell you that I have elaborated or rather I should say that I have redecorated this cap to give it to my dear friend Johana who soon I will be visiting there in my Andean land and I want to take her and simple present made with my own hands and with this to transmit her the great appreciation that I have for her. I would also like to make her feel that despite the time and distance she is always very close to my heart and that I love her very much.

For this present I wanted to make some beautiful flowers that represent that garden where we often played as children and were very happy. I also wanted to make them in all colors because for me it has a great meaning, the colors are joy and that is my friend Johana, she is laughter, jokes, youth, cheerfulness.

Johana likes the caps very much so I wanted to give her a new one and I also want to make her a mask in the same color that I will soon be showing you when I finish it.

The technique

For those who do not know this technique that we are going to use is called Ribbon Embroidery, it is an easy technique to do and consists of 12 basic stitches. It can be done on any fabric and can be used to decorate towels, bath sets, baby linens, kitchen linens, curtains, dresses and much more. As an example I show you this simple cap, that before was there in a drawer without anyone using it because it has a company brand. Now we are giving it a second chance and without further ado I invite you to know the step by step.

Materials that we will use

• Cap
• Special embroidery ribbons of all sizes.
• round point needle #16
• needle and thread.

Step-by-step

Threading the needle

We put the ribbon inside the hole, with the needle we prick the corner of one end of the ribbon and go through to make the first adjustment. Then at the other ends we bend a little bit the tip of the ribbon and go through with the needle until we go through the whole ribbon, in this way a special knot will be formed to start working.

Star flower

To make these flowers we must first mark where we want the flower, for that we must be clear what design we are going to draw. On the internet you can get a lot of designs and patterns that can give you an idea and expand your vision to get a better result.

We mark a flower or five-pointed star, we place some long stitches with needle and thread, then we put the ribbon in the middle and begin to pass in a wraparound way one above and one below as you can see in the image.

From what I said before, there is nothing left.

Yuuupiiiiiii! you can't even imagine how I feel after this result, I confess that the fabric gave me a little bit of work because it is a little thick (typical of caps) but now that I see it and I put it on I can't wait for my friend to see it.
