Ayer me levante con ganas de tejer algo distinto, quería parar un poco mis tejidos de las princesas de Disney y disfrutar de algo más.
Yesterday I woke up wanting to knit something different, I wanted to stop knitting Disney princesses and enjoy something else.
Resulta que luego de pasar un fin de semana maravilloso junto a mi familia ayer lunes fue todo lo contrario, un día realmente desastroso, me ocurrieron varias cosas de las que prefiero no hablar pero que me llamaron a la reflexión. Gracias a Dios y mis padres me considero una persona de mucha fe, esto me ha ayudado mucho en la vida para no decaerme ante los problemas , sino más bien mantener la calma, rodearme de personas que me puedan orientar en cualquier situación con cualquier consejo o ayuda y así no desesperar.
It turns out that after spending a wonderful weekend with my family yesterday Monday was the opposite, a really disastrous day, several things happened to me that I prefer not to talk about but that called me to reflection. Thanks to God and my parents I consider myself a person of great faith, this has helped me a lot in life not to lose my temper in the face of problems, but rather to keep calm, surround myself with people who can guide me in any situation with any advice or help and thus not to despair.

Hoy quiero unirme a esta fecha para dar mi voto y mi apoyo a cada una de las personas que sufren esta terrible enfermedad, personas que tal vez sin querer fueron abrumadas por sus problemas y perdieron la orientación de la vida; a su vez quisiera hacer un llamado de atención a cada una de las personas que hoy me leen. Amigos, no dejemos que ningún problema nos robe la paz, nuestra salud mental o física. Ningún abandono o decepción merece que nos perdamos de esta vida tan bonito que Dios nos regaló.

Si hay algo que me gusta, me desconecta de mis problemas y me ayuda a salir de lo cotidiano son mis plantas, con ellas siento el amor de Dios por cada uno de nosotros, ver tanta diversidad, tanto color, tanta belleza y sentirlas, es algo especial.
En mi vida he tenido la costumbre de sembrar matas, algunas las he comprado y otras las he heredado de mis vecinos que se han ido a otros países o a otro plano terrenal. A ellas las quiero y las cuido como si fueran una parte más de mi familia.
Hoy he unido a mis grandes amigas las plantas y el arte de tejer, uniendo estas dos cosas puedo canalizar mis emociones y expandir mi espiritualidad.

In my life I have had the habit of planting bushes, some I have bought and others I have inherited from my neighbors who have gone to other countries or to another earthly plane. I love them and take care of them as if they were part of my family.
Today I have joined my great friends the plants and the art of weaving, joining these two things I can channel my emotions and expand my spirituality.
Muchas personas alrededor del mundo han encontrado en las artes un medio de expresión y refugio para aislarse de lo que los inquieta; repetir una y otra vez la misma puntada fomenta entre el tejedor y el tejido un momento perfecto, un espacio íntimo de conexión y redención; así que yo ayer hice caso a esto y me aislé para sanar todo aquello que me estaba perturbando.

Cesta especial de tulipanes para alguien muy especial.
La vida no siempre nos trata mal, a veces nos pone en nuestro camino personas que nos alegran la vida sin querer queriendo, así que desde hace días he venido pensando en regalarle algo bonito a Yenni, la nueva integrante de mi familia, esposa de mi sobrino Carlos quien desde hace unos meses se ha portado de maravilla con nosotros, sobre todo con mi madre a la que le ha brindado afecto desde el primer día que llego a Caracas.
Yenni es una persona con mucho carisma, es alegre, muy divertida, tiene muchas cualidades bonitas para resaltar. Es por esto y más que he querido dedicar mi tiempo para tejerle esta cesta de tulipanes en crochet. La planta que lleva la cesta rosada es un tipo de suculenta y la otra es Zamioculcas o mata de la prosperidad la cual es perfecta para tener en cualquier parte de la casa y al crecer decora muy bien cada espacio.
Life does not always treat us badly, sometimes it puts in our way people who make our lives happy without wanting to, so for days I have been thinking about giving something nice to Yenni, the new member of my family, wife of my nephew Carlos who for a few months has behaved wonderfully with us, especially with my mother to whom she has given affection since the first day she arrived in Caracas.
Yenni is a person with a lot of charisma, she is cheerful, very funny, she has many beautiful qualities to highlight. It is for this and more that I wanted to dedicate my time to crochet this tulip basket for her. The plant that carries the pink basket is a type of succulent and the other one is Zamioculcas or prosperity bush which is perfect to have in any part of the house and when it grows it decorates very well every space.

A continuación les quiero contar como la hice:
1ra vuelta: en un aro mágico tejemos 3 cadenetas, estas equivalen a nuestro primer punto alto, luego tejemos 16 puntos altos, cerramos el aro mágico y cerramos esta vuelta en la tercera cadeneta de inicio.
2da vuelta: tejemos 17 aumentos de puntos altos.
3ra vuelta: tejemos 34 puntos bajos tomando solo la hebra trasera.
4-7 vuelta: tejemos puntos bajos normales tomando las dos hebras de la base.
8va vuelta: cambiamos al color verde y tejemos 34 puntos altos.
Hasta esta vuelta les voy a explicar, lo demás lo pueden ver en este video de YouTube donde explican cómo tejer un modelo distinto al tulipán que estamos acostumbrados.
Next I want to tell you how I did it:
1st row: in a magic hoop we knit 3 chains, these are equivalent to our first high stitch, then we knit 16 high stitches, close the magic hoop and close this row on the third starting chain.
Row 2: we knit 17 increases of double crochet stitches.
Row 3: we knit 34 single crochet, taking only the back yarn.
4-7th row: we knit normal single crochet taking the two strands of the base.
8th row: change to green and knit 34 double crochet stitches.
Up to this round I'm going to explain, the rest you can see in this YouTube video where they explain how to knit a different model to the tulip we are used to.

Al practicar el arte de tejer o bordar, descargamos nuestros estrés acumulado, activamos en nuestro cuerpo la energía sanadora y si a esto le sumamos tener contacto directo con la naturaleza entonces nos conectaremos con Dios y ayudamos a nuestra mente y nuestra alma.
I wanted to knit both models so you can see how beautiful they are.
I just want to see Yenni's face when I give her these little matitas to decorate her spaces, I am sure that every time she sees them it will bring a smile to her face and will generate a feeling of tenderness and peace.
By practicing the art of knitting or embroidery, we unload our accumulated stress, we activate the healing energy in our body and if we add to this having direct contact with nature then we will connect with God and help our mind and soul.

Otra creación preciosa. Aunque me gustan mucho las princesas, reconozco que estas portamacetas quedan muy bonitas aunque debes retirarlas para regar las plantas. Tejer debe ser un ejercicio fenomenal para despejar el cerebro. Me encantó soy fans a tus trabajos. Felicidades.
Hola amiga, como estas, te cuento que esta semana he dedicado un poco de mi tiempo hacer otras cosas, porque el patrón de las muñecas siempre es el mismo, lo que varia es el cabello y el vestido. Por eso queria variar para salir de la rutina.
la maceta o envase donde va la planta esta hecha con potes plásticos, uno mas grande que el otro. al mas pequeño le abrí unos huecos para que escurra el agua, y en el otro lo corte bien bajito para que aparar el agua. asi hasta que crezca y ya haya que cambiarla a un pote mas grande.
