Luego de un receso inesperado que me llevó apartarme de esta actividad en Hive que tanto me gusta y me apasiona, hoy regreso para contarles muchas aventuras y anécdotas que me han pasado. Un viaje a tierras lejanas, conocer nuevas personas, realizar muchas cosas en pro de la familia, una clonación de mi whatsapp, una picada de gusano y una avispa, el cumpleaños 18 de mi hijo y muchas cosas más que sucedieron sin querer y sin pensarlo o planificarlo demasiado.

After an unexpected break that took me away from this activity in Hive that I love and am so passionate about, today I am back to tell you about many adventures and anecdotes that have happened to me. A trip to distant lands, meeting new people, doing many things for the family, a cloning of my whatsapp, a worm bite and a wasp, my son's 18th birthday and many more things that happened unintentionally and without thinking or planning too much.

En definitiva cosas buenas, cosas malas, que te alimentan el alma, te enriquecen el espíritu y te deja lecciones para la vida.

Mucho antes de carnaval me fui unos días a las tierras de Higuerote, una población en las costas mirandinas, en Venezuela, donde el calor, las playas, la gente, te hacen sentir que estas vivo y no importa la edad que tengas aún hay mucho para dar y disfrutar.

In short, good things, bad things, that feed your soul, enrich your spirit and leave you lessons for life.

Long before carnival I went for a few days to the lands of Higuerote, a town on the coast of Mirandina, in Venezuela, where the heat, the beaches, the people, make you feel that you are alive and no matter how old you are there is still a lot to give and enjoy.

Previo a las fiestas de carnaval y en vista que se aproximaba el cumpleaños número 18 de mi hijo Fabián màs el aniversario número 29 junto al amor de mi vida, decidí ir antes a la casa de la playa para preparar el lugar ya que por una u otra razón hacía tiempo que no íbamos.

Prior to the carnival festivities and in view of my son Fabian's 18th birthday and my 29th anniversary with the love of my life, I decided to go to the beach house beforehand to prepare the place since for one reason or another we had not been there for a long time.

En verdad quería brindarle a mi familia un lugar limpio, acondicionado y con la ayuda de dos buenas personas Pedro y Norelis todo fue más fácil.

Amanecer cada día en este lugar me llenaba de paz, me sentía relajada y feliz. Cada día había algo por hacer así que era fácil mantener la mente muy ocupada y esto no me dejaba pensar en las comodidades que brinda mi apartamento, la computadora, el internet y netflix. Me conformaba con poco y si les digo la verdad, llegué a pensar en que no me quería venir.

I really wanted to give my family a clean, conditioned place and with the help of two good people Pedro and Norelis everything was easier.

I felt relaxed and happy when I woke up every day in this place. Every day there was something to do so it was easy to keep my mind very busy and this did not let me think about the comforts of my apartment, the computer, internet and netflix. I made do with little and to tell you the truth, I even thought I didn't want to come.

Por fin llegaron los carnavales y todo estaba listo para recibir a mi familia, ya los extrañaba y sabía que ellos también a mí. Me alegró mucho verlos y sentir su abrazo. Así la casa se llenó de risas y ya entramos en el ambiente carnestolendas.

Finally the carnivals arrived and everything was ready to receive my family, I missed them and I knew they missed me too. I was very happy to see them and feel their embrace. So the house was filled with laughter and we entered the carnival atmosphere.

La población de Higuerote es muy alegre, por donde quiera que vayas hay playas, fiesta, alegría, sobre todo por esta época en que todos quieren sacudirse el frio de diciembre y calentarse el cuerpo con un rico sol rozando su piel.

The people of Higuerote are very happy, everywhere you go there are beaches, parties, joy, especially at this time when everyone wants to shake off the cold of December and warm their bodies with a rich sun touching their skin.

Por ser el cumpleaños de mi hijo Fabián quien ya llegó a su mayoría de edad, decidimos hacerle algo distinto, entonces le pedimos que invitara a sus amigos más cercanos y los invitara a un fin de semana de playa. Así fue como el día domingo nos fuimos todos a conocer por primera vez “La playita”, así se llama el lugar. Para ir a este sitio debíamos tomar lancha en Carenero y tardó unos 5 minutos en trasladarnos al lugar. En cuanto a costos les puedo decir que me pareció económico $4 dólares ida y regreso, las lanchas se veían en buen estado, con su respectivo equipo de seguridad.

Because it was my son Fabian's birthday, who has already come of age, we decided to do something different, so we asked him to invite his closest friends and invite them to a weekend at the beach. That's how on Sunday we all went to visit for the first time "La Playita", that's the name of the place. To go to this place we had to take a boat in Carenero and it took about 5 minutes to get there. In terms of cost I can tell you that I found it economical $4 dollars round trip, the boats looked in good condition, with their respective safety equipment.

Sinceramente que vale la pena hacer el esfuerzo y salir a conocer estos lugares únicos, tranquilos, alejados del bululú que normalmente encuentras en las playas más concurridas. A simple vista se nota que “La Playita” es un lugar tranquilo y cuando te desembarcas allí todos te atienden muy bien.

Sincerely, it is worth the effort to go out and get to know these unique, quiet places, far away from the crowds that you normally find in the most crowded beaches. At first glance you can see that "La Playita" is a quiet place and when you disembark there everyone is very well taken care of.

El lugar está muy bien cuidado por los agentes encargados de brindar servicio al turista y además se suma que constantemente la policía está dando un recorrido en sus lanchas para mantener el orden.

The place is very well cared for by the agents in charge of providing service to tourists and in addition the police are constantly giving a tour in their boats to maintain order.

El agua es cálida, hay poco oleaje, hay bastantes kioscos donde venden de todo, pero lo que más me gustó fue la comida, la señora que nos cocinó en verdad le pone amor a lo que hace. Solo les digo que me encantaría volver solo para probar otro plato de fosforera que era algo de otro mundo.

Me hubiese gustado tomarle foto pero cuando nos acordamos ya no quedaba nada. En cuanto a los precios me pareció bien el plato de fosforera y pescado tenía un costo de $10.

The water is warm, there is little swell, there are plenty of kiosks where they sell everything, but what I liked most was the food, the lady who cooked for us really puts love to what she does. I just want to tell you that I would love to come back just to try another plate of phosphorera, it was something out of this world.

I would have liked to take a picture of it but when we remembered there was nothing left. As for the prices, I thought the phosphorera and fish dish cost $10.

Mi hijo y sus amigos la pasaron muy bien, muchos de ellos nunca habían viajado en lancha y aunque tenían algo de miedo les encantó vivir la experiencia.

La lancha nos buscó a la hora acordada y regresamos a casa felices, cantando y celebrando la vida y el amor.

My son and his friends had a great time, many of them had never been on a boat before and although they were a little scared they loved the experience.

The boat picked us up at the appointed time and we returned home happy, singing and celebrating life and love.

Al día siguiente pudimos ir nuevamente a una de las playas más cercanas y concurridas en barlovento que se llama “Puerto Francés” como ven en las imágenes estaba full, aquí viene mucha gente por el oleaje y la diversión.

The next day we were able to go again to one of the closest and most crowded beaches in windward called "Puerto Francés" as you can see in the pictures it was full, here many people come for the waves and fun.

Mi esposo y yo estábamos de aniversario de novios, 29 años juntos; una relación que ha perdurado en el tiempo gracias a que han prevalecido dos cosas fundamentales, el perdón y la tolerancia. Cuando se unen estas dos es más fácil sobrellevar las dificultades que se puedan presentar y cuando hay amor siempre es más fácil cambiar y ceder algo en favor de la relación.

My husband and I were on our wedding anniversary, 29 years together; a relationship that has endured over time thanks to the fact that two fundamental things have prevailed, forgiveness and tolerance. When these two come together it is easier to overcome the difficulties that may arise and when there is love it is always easier to change and give up something in favor of the relationship.

Este día del amor y la amistad que recién acaba de pasar, mientras me encontraba sola en este lugar como les comenté al principio de mi post, pude darme cuenta que haber practicado esta fórmula me ayudó a mantener mi matrimonio.

This day of love and friendship that just passed, while I was alone in this place as I told you at the beginning of my post, I could realize that having practiced this formula helped me to keep my marriage.

Como ven hoy se juntaron en este post, aventura y sentimiento, estos carnavales serán recordados durante mucho tiempo y son momentos que siempre querremos volver a repetir.
