Today I would like to start this post with a question: What do you do when you lose your muse? What happens when you don't feel inspired to write? Is there any magic syrup or potion to alleviate that discomfort?

A few days ago I spent 7 days without writing, I don't know what happened to me, suddenly my mind wanted to take a break and went to a forced stop.

Hoy quisiera comenzar esta publicación con una pregunta ¿Qué hacen ustedes cuando se les pierde la musa? ¿Qué pasa cuando no sienten inspiración para escribir? ¿Acaso hay algún jarabe o pócima mágica que alivie ese malestar?

Hace unos días me pase 7 días sin escribir, no sé qué me pasó, de repente mi mente quiso tomar un descanso y metió paro forzoso.

There are days when we wake up like this, I'm sure it has happened to you too, but a good writer or blogger even writes about his ills!
Since I was feeling a bit anxious about it, I decided to relax and wait until Monday to start again.

Hay días en que amanecemos así, estoy segura que a ustedes también les ha pasado, pero el que es buen escritor o bloguero ¡hasta de sus males escribe!

En vista de que me sentía algo angustiada por eso, tomé la decisión de relajarme y esperar hasta el lunes para comenzar otra vez.

Taking that decision was the best thing that could have happened to me, I rested, did some things around the house and put my thoughts in order. Let me tell you that I relaxed so much that I even took Friday afternoon to go out with my friends to have a few drinks. Without realizing it, I had neglected them too and I realize that my son's operation had completely consumed me.

Haber tomado esa decisión fue lo mejor que me pudo pasar, descansé, hice varias cosas en la casa y puse en orden mis ideas. Déjenme decirles que me relaje tanto que hasta me tomé la tarde del viernes para salir con mis amigas a tomarme unos tragos. Sin darme cuenta a ellas también las tenía abandonadas y hasta ahora me doy cuenta que la operación de mi hijo me había consumido por completo.

In those days I also watched several netflix and HBO movies and series that had been recommended to me. I love it when good movies are recommended to me because it saves me time searching.

But what I loved the most was that Sunday when my "well willing" husband took the keys to the car and took us on a tour of several places in the city that we had been wanting to see for a long time.

En esos días también vi varias películas y series de netflix y HBO que me habían recomendado. Me encanta cuando me recomiendan películas buenas porque me ahorran tiempo en buscar.

Pero lo que más me gustó fue ese domingo en que mi esposo “bien dispuesto” tomó las llaves del carro y nos llevó de paseo por varios sitios de la ciudad que hacía rato que queríamos conocer.
Hoy les presento “El Parque Boyacá”

Today I present to you "Boyacá Park".

If you live in caracas and have time for recreation and relaxation I invite you to visit this beautiful park, a wonderful place, a hidden paradise in the middle of the gigantic concrete jungle in the Chacao municipality of Greater Caracas.

When we do this kind of activities as a family, I love it! Everyone who knows me knows how much I love being with my family; a walk without them is a waste.

Hoy les presento “El Parque Boyacá”

Si vives en caracas y tienes tiempo para el esparcimiento y la relajación te invito a visitar este lindo parque, un lugar maravilloso, un paraíso escondido en medio de la gigantesca selva de concreto en el municipio Chacao de la Gran Caracas.

Cuando hacemos este tipo de actividades en familia ¡me encanta! Todos los que me conocen saben lo mucho que amo estar en familia; un paseo sin ellos es un desperdicio.

The park is really beautiful, it has a lot of vegetation, even though it is not very big, it is designed to provide tranquility, peace, but also relaxation and recreation.

El parque es hermoso en verdad, tiene mucha vegetación, a pesar que no es muy grande, está diseñado para brindar tranquilidad, paz, pero también esparcimiento y recreación.

I really liked the big chess pieces, it is funny to move them this way. There is also an exercise area and a rustic amphitheater.

In spite of not being so big it is very complete, I consider that it lacks nothing, it has biosecurity at the entrance, there is a cafeteria, restrooms, benches, spaces to read a good book while breathing fresh air that comes from those gigantic trees that are around.

Me gustó mucho el ajedrez de piezas grandes, es gracioso moverlas de esta manera. También hay un área para hacer ejercicios y un anfiteatro rustico.

A pesar de no ser tan grande está muy completo, considero que no le falta nada, tiene bioseguridad en la entrada, hay cafetería, baños, bancas, espacios para leer un buen libro mientras respiras aire puro que brota de esos gigantescos árboles que están alrededor.

We stayed there for almost an hour while enjoying a delicious ice cream and coffee. When we left we walked through the beautiful streets of El Rosal. Here my kids started to recreate the Beatles scene on the striping, but we ended up laughing out loud again because Fabian put a lot of effort to get everything right in the video but Israel (red wine flannel) didn't help him much. :D :D :D :DDDDDDD

Allí estuvimos casi una hora mientras disfrutábamos un rico helado y un café. Al salir caminamos por las bonitas calles del Rosal. Aquí mis hijos se pusieron a recrear la escena de los Beatles sobre el rayado, pero terminamos nuevamente riendo a carcajadas porque Fabián le ponía un mundo para que todo saliera bien en el video pero Israel (franela vino tinto) no le ayudaba mucho. :D :D :DDDDD

Later we went to the paintball in the Chacaíto mall, but I tell you the truth, that's crazy, the guys hit each other with those rubber balls and although they say it's not dangerous, the truth is that they hit very hard (I don't recommend it at all).

Más tarde nos fuimos al paintball en el centro comercial Chacaíto, pero les digo la verdad, eso es de locos, los chicos se dan con esas pelotas de goma y aunque digan que no es peligroso, la verdad es que pegan muy duro. (No se los recomiendo para nada).

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, you deserve that and more, for how hard you work every day for yourself, your family, your friends. At this age I have understood that "From the rush only remains the tiredness" that's why when I notice disorder in my life I call myself to reflection. Perhaps many people think that taking a break is laziness, but it is not so; we must listen to our body and give it a break from time to time.

No permitas que nadie te diga lo contrario, te mereces eso y más, por lo mucho que te esfuerzas a diario por ti, por tu familia, tus amigos. A esta edad he comprendido que “Del apuro solo queda el cansancio” por eso cuando noto desorden en mi vida me llamo a a mí misma a la reflexión. Tal vez muchos piensen que tomar un descanso es flojera, pero no es así; debemos escuchar a nuestro cuerpo y darle un respiro de vez en cuando.

For mental health it is necessary to let go, relax, breathe. If one day we can't publish, it's okay, really! We just reorganize, let the muse come back and get back to creating. I know we all have problems, I know we can all fail at something at some point, but when this happens we must stop and not let the mess take over our days.

Por salud mental es necesario soltar, relajarnos, respirar. Si un día no podemos publicar ¡No pasa nada! ¡En serio! Simplemente nos reorganizamos, dejamos que vuelva la musa y volvemos a crear. Yo sé que todos tenemos problemas, yo sé que todos en algún momento podemos fallar en algo, pero cuando esto sucede debemos parar y así no permitimos que el desorden se adueñe de nuestros días.

Now I can come back with recharged batteries, with the best disposition, with new ideas to work in the best possible way.

Never regret taking a break, because beyond our beloved platform is our mental and physical health.

Ahora puedo volver con las pilas recargadas, con la mejor disposición, con nuevas ideas para trabajar de la mejor manera posible.

No te arrepientas nunca de tomar un descanso, porque más allá de nuestra amada plataforma esta nuestra salud mental y física.
