Hoy les quiero compartir una tarea que me gusto mucho realizar, ya le haría un favor a mi hermana favorita. Lo cual consistía en arreglar una pulsera muy querida para ella, y aunque me hace muy feliz el poder ayudarla, no sabía si podría hacerlo. Esto antes de ver la pulsera y ver si tenía arreglo.

Today I want to share with you a task that I really liked doing, I would do my favorite sister a favor. Which consisted of fixing a very dear bracelet for her, and although I am very happy to be able to help her, I didn't know if I could do it. This before seeing the bracelet and seeing if it could be fixed.

Creo que todos en algún momento llegamos a tener, como lo es en este caso alguna prenda de joyería la cual nos gusta mucho o porque representa un valor sentimental hacia la persona que no las obsequia o simplemente porque nos gusto por otro motivo.

I think that at some point we all have, as in this case, a piece of jewelry that we really like or because it represents a sentimental value towards the person who does not give it away or simply because we like it for another reason.

Y sentimos mucho cuando se nos dañan, ya que son pulsera hechas con materiales poco duradero y a veces resulta un poco complicado arreglarlas ( bueno en mi caso, que aunque hago mis trabajitos no soy experta) pero creo que haciéndolo con paciencia y mucho cariño nos puede salir.

And we are very sorry when they are damaged, since they are bracelets made with materials that are not very durable and sometimes it is a bit complicated to fix them (well in my case, although I do my little jobs I am not an expert) but I think that doing it with patience and a lot of love can help us leave.

Les cuento que esta pulsera tiene un valor especial para mi hermana, ya que se la había regalado su hijo el día que se despidió de ella, ya que se iba del país y por lo tanto no sabría el tiempo que van a estar separados..y créanme que se lo que se siente estar separados de los hijos. Y tener algo de ellos es como abrazarlos y tenerlos cerquita de uno.

And believe me, I know what it feels like to be separated from your children. And having something from them is like hugging them and having them close to you.

Y como esa pulsera era una de las favorita de mi sobrino, por lo que ya estaba un poco sentida la pobre. Lo que paso fue que mi hermana en una de esas que se la iba a poner, la halo muy fuerte y se dañaron los hilos inferiores ( menos mal, porque si el daño hubiera sido en el tejido ahí si no lo hubiera podido arreglar) , porque como le he mencionado antes no soy experta y cuando es tejido, muchas veces no puedo arreglarlas.

And since that bracelet was one of my nephew's favorites, so the poor thing was already a bit upset. What happened was that my sister in one of those that was going to put it on, I pulled it very hard and the lower threads were damaged (thank goodness, because if the damage had been in the fabric there if it had not been able to fix it), because as I mentioned before I am not an expert and when it is knitted, many times I cannot fix them.

Pero me hace muy feliz poder ayudar a mi hermana , me tenga la confianza y me crea toda una profesional en la materia.
Por lo que entonces me puse manos a la obra…bueno en la pulsera y una vez que la tuve en mis manos. La examine y vi que podía repararla, claro a juro había que hacerle unos cambio pero lo más importante conservaría su valor.

Para hacerlo utilice los siguientes materiales:

*- Dos argollas.
*- Un trancadero o broche pico de loro.
*. Mostacillas.
*- Hilo de nailon.
*- yesquero.
*- Tijera.

To do this use the following materials:

*- Two rings.
*- A lock or parrot beak brooch.
*. Beads.
*- Nylon thread.
*- tinderbox.
*- Scissors.

Procedimiento :

Process :

*- Lo primero que hice fue cortar y quemar los hilos de ambas puntas . iba quemando y apretando para que quedaran bien compactados los hilos y no se fueran a deshilachar al meter entre ellos las argollas.
En cada extremo de la pulsera coloque una argolla. Y en una de ella el trancadero.

*- The first thing I did was cut and burn the threads at both ends. I was burning and pressing so that the threads were well compacted and would not fray when the rings were inserted between them.
At each end of the bracelet place a ring. And in one of them the lock.

*- Pensé que a mi hermana le gustaría si le agregaba unas florecitas, ya que no iba a tener los hilos que les colgaba con el cierre. así que tome unas mostacillas y el nailon y las hice. Colocándolas en la otra argolla.

*- I thought that my sister would like it if I added some little flowers, since she was not going to have the threads that hung from the zipper. so I took some beads and nylon and made them. Placing them in the other ring.

Y de esta manera quedo arreglada la pulsera más valiosa de mi querida hermana. Lo cual me hizo muy feliz hacerlo. Y esperando que mi post les sirva de motivación en cuanto que muchas veces podemos reparar algo de mucho significado para alguien y no tirarlo o dejar de usarlo porque se nos daño.
