[Esp/Eng] Delicioso y nutritiva bebida fruta de semeruco.

Hoy le vengo a compartir una bebida natural muy rica en vitaminas muy importante para elevar el sistema inmunológico y ayuda a contribuir en la prevención de la anemia, esta bebida es muy conocida en los hogares como un acompañante en la horas de las comidas como el desayuno y el almuerzo. Una bebida natural de semeruco en mi país Venezuela es reconocida como una especie frutícola como es el icaco, ciruela de huesito y chirimoya.

Today I come to share a natural drink very rich in vitamins very important to raise the immune system and helps to contribute in the prevention of anemia, this drink is well known in homes as a companion at meal times such as breakfast and lunch. A natural drink of semeruco in my country Venezuela is recognized as a fruit species such as the icaco, bone plum and custard apple.

El semeruco es una planta arbustiva emblemática del Estado Lara en el centro occidente de Venezuela, su aparición fue en la época prehispana en el tiempo de la colonia en la cual un Obispo identificado como Bastida descubrió un arbusto que los indígenas llamaban cimiruco.

The Semeruco is an emblematic bush plant of the State of Lara in central western Venezuela, its appearance was in pre-Hispanic times in the time of the colony in which a Bishop identified as Bastida discovered a shrub that the Indians called cimiruco.

Sus cosechas se dan a partir del año y medio de su plantación y luego comienza a fructificar de cuatro a cinco veces al año, el semeruco crece naturalmente en todas las regiones áridas y semiáridas de los Estados, llegando a obtenerse la fruta de un arbusto hasta de 20 a 30kilos, esta no es comercializada ya que se reproduce muy fácilmente en los patios y jardines de los hogares.

Características del semeruco

Esta fruta principalmente comienza a germinar en forma de una flor de color rosada o hasta a veces blanca o violeta, creciendo a solo 1 a 2 cm de diámetro, luego a medida que va desarrollándose se convierte en una fruta redonda y jugosa.

Characteristics of Semeruco

This fruit mainly begins to germinate as a pink or sometimes even white or violet flower, growing to only 1 to 2cm in diameter, then as it develops it becomes a round and juicy fruit.

Tengo la dicha de poseer un arbusto en mi casa, ya que fue cosechada desde hace tiempo y en la cual he visto su proceso de crecimiento y hasta ahora que disfruto del fruto de este árbol frondoso. Este planta a sido una bendición, ya que he podido compartir con mis vecinos en especial con un niño que tiene problemas de hemoglobina, donde el requiere mantener su sistema inmunológico alto y también otro vecino que padece de leucemia y le han recomendado los médicos consumir dicho fruto. Me dispuse a recoger esta fruta y a enseñarles lo fácil que es realizar esta bebida tan refrescante.

Ingredientes

-Semerucos.
-Agua.
-Azúcar.
-Hielo al gusto.

Procedimiento

Procedure

Paso 1
Lavar el semeruco con agua para quitarle tallos hojas y sacarle todas las impurezas que recibe del medio ambiente.

Wash the semeruco with water to remove stems, leaves and all the impurities it receives from the environment.

Paso 2
Luego vaciar en el vaso de la licuadora agregarle agua y azúcar dependiendo de la cantidad necesaria.

Then pour into the blender cup, add water and sugar depending on the amount needed.

Paso 3
Después de licuar la varios minutos comenzamos a colarlo, para extraerle toda la piel y las semillas.

After blending it for several minutes we begin to strain it, to extract all the skin and seeds.

Paso 4
Para culminar la colocamos en una jarra le agregamos hielo al gusto y procedemos a ingerir ese delicioso jugo natural de semeruco.

To finish, we place it in a pitcher, add ice to taste and proceed to drink this delicious natural juice of semeruco.

Recomendaciones

Se recomienda que al momento de recoger las frutas del semeruco ser muy cuidadoso, ya que en sus hojas se produce un polvillo que causa picazón en la piel, que es utilizado en su defensa para protegerse de los insectos.
