RE: Behind the private walls of sandcastles

The title reminded me of a song that i played in my head as i read the post. It's interesting the turn that this took based on the title... which is awesome. I don't know if you are familiar with this song but it's pretty deep for being old-school. In my mind, i think of the digital sea of data that you described when i consider how the lyrics merge with the sentiments you expressed. Jimi's music doesn't often stay on youtube long due to copyright issues so you may check this out before they take it down if you are interested.

Here are the the lyrics...
[Verse 1]
Down the street you can hear her scream "You're a disgrace"
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbors start to gossip and drool
He cries "Oh girl, you must be mad
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?"
Against the door he leans and starts a scene
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

[Chorus]
And so castles made of sand fall in the sea eventually

[Verse 2]
A little Indian brave who before he was ten
Played war games in the woods with his Indian friends
And he built a dream that when he grew up
He would be a fearless warrior, Indian Chief
Many moons passed, and more the dream grew strong until
Tomorrow he would sing his first war song and fight his first battle
But something went wrong, surprise attack killed him in his sleep that night

[Chorus]
And so castles made of sand melts into the sea eventually

[Verse 3]
There was a young girl whose heart was a frown
Because she was crippled for life
And she couldn't speak a sound
And she wished and prayed she could stop living
So she decided to die
She drew her wheelchair to the edge of the shore
And to her legs she smiled you won't hurt me no more
But then a sight she'd never seen made her jump and say
Look a golden winged ship is passing my way
And it really didn't have to stop, it just kept on going

[Outro]
And so castles made of sand slips into the sea, eventually

I wonder what the new digital castles will be in the new wild wild west of the manifest destiny being erected around us!? Speaking of being erected...

what can they tell through which images we look at, how often we look at them and for how long

... there was more than information and data being disseminated!

Incognito My Ass SMH
Did You Know?
Adverb or adjective

The ancient Greeks and Romans knew that there were times when you didn't want to be recognized. For example, a myth tells how Zeus and Hermes visited a village incognito and asked for lodging. The apparently penniless travelers were turned away from every household except that of a poor elderly couple named Baucis and Philemon, who provided a room and a feast despite their own poverty. The Romans had a word that described someone or something unknown (like the gods in the tale): incognitus, a term that is the ancestor of our modern incognito.

I don't know the song, but I have probably heard it before sometime. I am musically challenged and only listen to Justin Bieber ;D

I think that a lot of people on Hive don't realize how many large accounts roam on an alt from time to time to see what is going on in incognito mode. People seem to look at Rep and HP before responding - at their own cost. They think they are playing the game well by targeting. In my opinion, being generous with time and effort with everyone is more rewarding.

You have always been the most generous active member that I have met and extremely community and initiative minded. I promise i am not always trying to butter you up... but it's true man and just giving credit where it's due. I know how difficult it was for me to learn blockchain lingo and code to post and in fact i almost forgot most of what i learned because of my extended leave.

But for those reasons i have always tried to spend some of my upvoting on new accounts and those that are being onboarded because it can be discouraging for new folks when they learn and apply themselves and then don't get any activity on their efforts. I am still trying to manage my time effectively so i hope to grow more and more active like it was back then. I always know my time will not go to waste when i read any of your prolific posts.

I appreciate the wide variety of content this platform provides. I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned the big folks going around and checking things out and seeing what there is to see. It's not hard for y'all that are good at seeing the backend of things to notice what's Really going on in many of the attempts to just exploit the system and garner growth in a disingenuous way. It's even worse when one can see it from the front end.

I have noticed that it seems Hive has kind of refined the user base to those that have always and will continue to care about what the opportunity provided is really all about. Hopefully, we will be able to keep it that way. I still have much catching up to do in figuring out what all changes i need to be privy to. I want to upvote your comment but don't think my upvote is worth a penny and not sure if that would be a throw away upvote... stuff like that. The last thing i will say is that thank God and whomever is responsible for making the markdown and Css code native in the editor! That is really going to help save a lot of people a LOT OF TIME!

Sorry/not sorry for the book here! hahahah
Did you get a chance to put Justin Beaver down and listen to the song? If so what did you think?
