Assembling the model of a Triceratops skeleton with my 7 year old cousin. (ENG-ESP)
Final result. A wonderful model of my favorite dinosaur. My cousin's is the mythical T-Rex.
Fabulous toy that I gave to my cousin. It has experiments related to atmospheric formation, earth formation, volcano eruption and a surprise model of a dinosaur skeleton.
In our case it came with 2 wooden sheets with 17 pieces to assemble our dinosaur skeleton. By the shape of the pieces my 7 year old cousin did not take long to realize that we had a triceratops.
We laid out the 17 pieces on the table. We separated the ribs on one side, the legs on another, the head on another side and what are the two pieces of the spine on another.
My cousin began to assemble the model by attaching the head to the neck.
Subsequently, it joined the neck to the spine.
Next, she placed the two pieces that form part of the triceratops' horns.
He placed the four pieces that made up the ribs. We were not sure if we had to place them from smaller to larger or the other way around. Finally we put the larger ribs towards the rear most part.
Finally, we attach the legs to the triceratops.
_The triceratops model once finished along with the volcano that we had previously erupted.

As I told you, a few weeks ago I visited the Jurassic Museum of Asturias with my aunt and uncle and a 7 year old cousin of mine and I bought a toy for my cousin related to the Jurassic, the formation of the earth, eruption of a volcano and additionally included a surprise model of a dinosaur skeleton.
In the pictures, I show you the steps we followed to assemble the model of the dinosaur that we got, which is a triceraptos. It happens to be my favorite dinosaur. However, my cousin had the illusion that she would get the T-Rex.
I loved to see my cousin excited assembling the model and I only regretted that we did not get a dinosaur with more pieces. Since the triceratops only consisted of 17 pieces instead of more than 30 that we would get with the T-Rex or more than 40 that we would get with the other option which was the stegosaurus.

Como ya os conté, hace unas semanas visité el Museo del Jurásico de Asturias con mis tíos y un primo mío de 7 años y le compre un juguete a mi prima relacionado con el jurásico, la formación de la tierra, erupción de un volcán y adicionalmente incluía una maqueta sorpresa de un esqueleto de un dinosaurio.
En las fotografías, os muestro los pasos que hemos seguido para montar la maqueta del dinosaurio que nos había tocado, que es un triceraptos. Se da la casualidad que es mi dinosaurio preferido. Sin embargo, mi prima tenía la ilusión que le saliese el T-Rex.
Me encanto ver a mi prima ilusionada montando la maqueta y solo me quedo pena de que no nos saliese un dinosaurio con más piezas. Ya que el triceratops solo consistía en 17 piezas en vez de las más de 30 que nos tocaría con el T-Rex o las más de 40 que nos tocaría con la otra opción que era el stegosaurio.

No sabía que aún se podían encontrar este tipo de juguetes. Hubo un hace un tiempo la controversia de que si era o no realmente la forma correcta de este dinosaurio. Nunca supe cuál fue el argumento que puso final a esa discusión.
Que a una persona de siete años, le interesen este tipo de cosas, me da muchas esperanzas para el futuro.
Reconstruir la forma real de un ser vivos que habitó la Tierra hace millones de años es complicado a través de los fósiles.
A mi prima, todo lo que sean temas científicos le gusta mucho.
Si, de hecho, ha habido muchas discrepancias sobre el aspecto de los dinosaurios, ha llegado a cambiar con el avance de la ciencia. Dentro de algunos años, de seguro lo que damos por cierto puede llegar a cambiar.
