The good pint of beer (Albacete). Beersaturday challenge 296

Happy #beersaturday beer friends.

It has been many weeks since I participated in the #beersaturday because of my health problems since last Christmas and with much effort I had not returned to a brewery to enjoy this delicious drink.

This week, helped by an improvement in my health and because I was in the city of Albacete for work reasons, I visited one of the most important breweries in this small Spanish city located in the community of Castilla La Mancha, which many of you will recognize for being the area of Spain where the novel Don Quixote takes place.

This brewery, which is called La Buena Pinta, is a very nice place located in the street Jesus Nazareno No. 1 and just enter the premises one feels in a cozy place with a very beer decoration based on bright badges, flags and inflatables of some of the beers they serve in this place.

In turn, to a lover of #streetart like me, one of the interior walls of the local was painted with a mural that because there was a group of girls sitting in that area I could not photograph very well. This mural emulated the work of Michelangelo the creation of Adam but with a setting related to beer.

Another striking aspect of the place, is that each of the tables, instead of being the boring tables that one usually finds, in this case each of them is set in famous paintings and in particular the table where my co-worker and I sat was represented by a portrait of Vincent Van Gogh smoking through an Arabian pipe.

As for the beers that my colleague and I enjoyed in this place were first a Kwak with its unmistakable cereal flavor in which despite its high alcohol content (8.4% vol) the taste of this beer and its light foam is a delight for the palate.

Secondly, we continued with another Belgian beer, but this time we opted for a barrel-aged beer and specifically for a Sant Bernardus, which is one of my favorite Belgian beers.

As a result of the inspiration of the moment and helped by the creativity of having a portrait of Van Gogh, I asked my partner for the cap and took a striking snapshot in which we can see Van Gogh with the cap on and staring at the beer. I'm sure that more than one would have taken it during his lifetime as a means of inspiration for his formidable artistic work.

After this second beer, my partner and I looked for a place to have dinner, but first we saved in our Google Maps application this place in our favorites agenda to repeat someday a visit to this formidable and fun brewery.
