CHAOS GOLEM🔥 Splinterlands Art Contest SPT W-288

Hoy estoy nuevamente compartiendo mi entrada al concurso de arte de @Splinterlands de esta semana, para el cual hice una representación de la carta de CHAOS GOLEM que sigue siendo de la colección #rebellion. Y esta representación es un poco más simplista donde hice un modelo nuevo de este robot mecánico, dibujando un tipo de ciclope de un ojo mecánico, el cual es el que evoluciona para pasar a ser este ojo su centro en el pecho como lo muestra la carta original, cambiando también su arma por una más pequeña y común como es la espada, en sí es una representación de una posible niñez o juventud de este inmenso robot. Me gusto lograr una armonía con las partes ya que es mi primer dibujo de un ser mecánico. Espero les guste y me acompañen!😊🎨👣

Today I'm again sharing my entry for this week's @Splinterlands art contest, for which I made a rendering of the CHAOS GOLEM which is still from the #rebellion collection. And this representation is a little more simplistic where I made a new model of this mechanical robot, drawing a type of cyclops of a mechanical eye, which is the one that evolves to become this eye its center in the chest as shown in the letter original, also changing its weapon for a smaller and more common one such as the sword, in itself is a representation of a possible childhood or youth of this immense robot. I liked achieving harmony with the parts since it is my first drawing of a mechanical being. I hope you like it and join me!😊🎨👣

Etapas del Dibujo/Drawing Stages

Comencé con un boceto en limpio utilizando una nueva brocha de lápiz, quería crear muchos de las características de la carta y que las proporciones fueran correctas y los detalles estuvieran una buena definición a la hora de ir aplicando los colores. Y para ir dando vida al dibujo, apliqué una base de color fría y utilicé varias tonalidades para crear profundidad y ubicar las sombras y las zonas de iluminación. Trabajé en capas, utilizando el método normal para mezclar los colores y lograr una transición suave.

I started with a clean sketch using a new pencil brush, I wanted to create many of the characteristics of the card and for the proportions to be correct and the details to be well defined when applying the colors. And to give life to the drawing, I applied a cold color base and used various tones to create depth and locate the shadows and lighting areas. I worked in layers, using the normal method to mix the colors and achieve a smooth transition.

A medida que avanzaba, agregué los accesorios dorados al personaje, y usé el mismo método normal para integrarlos con el resto de la composición. Mezclé cuidadosamente para que se fundieran con la base de color y suavizaran la textura. Los bordes son importantes para darle forma al dibujo a medida que dibujo así que por parte fui definiendo los contornos siguiendo el boceto base. Trabajé en capas, ajustando los detalles y asegurándome de que cada parte del personaje estuviera su proporción. As I progressed, I added the gold accessories to the character, and used the same normal method to integrate them with the rest of the composition. I mixed carefully so that they blended with the color base and softened the texture. The edges are important to shape the drawing as I draw, so on the other hand I defined the contours following the base sketch. I worked in layers, adjusting the details and making sure each part of the character was in its proportion. I wanted a dark and intense background that would highlight the character, so I took a hard brush and applied a red tone around the robot's eye, drew several lines and then blended to achieve a better effect.

En otra capa, trabajé en la espada del robot y utilicé varias capas para definir las partes de la espada y lograr un aspecto un poco metálico, realmente me falta mucho conseguirlo. Y nuevamente seguí el método normal de mezcla para obtener un resultado subrealista. Luego, terminé el fondo con líneas y puntos adicionales para agregar más formas. Luego, apliqué una capa de luz suave y brillos para resaltar el ojo láser del robot. El resultado fue un pequeño robot mecánico llamativo y lleno de energía.

On another layer, I worked on the robot's sword and used several layers to define the parts of the sword and achieve a bit of a metallic look, I really have a long way to go to achieve that. And again I followed the normal mixing method to get a surreal result. Then, I finished the background with additional lines and dots to add more shapes. Next, I applied a layer of soft light and glows to highlight the robot's laser eye. The result was a striking and energetic little mechanical robot.
