Saludos a todos, amigos de la comunidad de #EmpowerTalent , con el tema que nos traen cada semana, especialmente con nuestra querida @angelica7 , para invitarnos a escribir sobre: "El futuro es un misterio", porque cuando entendemos que el futuro es incierto, dejamos de preocuparnos tanto de lo que no llega, es por ello que en esta comunidad deseamos compartir el regalo del poder de acción de hoy, para que vivamos libres, a continuación mi participación:

Me uno a esta iniciativa hoy jueves, con este mensaje que deseo compartir con ustedes y que al leer esta corta frase, de alguna manera me anima a iniciar mi día: "Por si nadie te lo ha dicho hoy, eres una excelente persona, sigue así".

Un acto de fe en mi propia capacidad de evolucionar

Creo que ante un mundo tan de prisa en el que estamos, es necesario velar por nuestra salud física y mental, y parte de ello es cultivando relaciones valiosas, tratando a los demás como me gustaría que me tratarán a mí y si está en mis posibilidades ayudar a otros con empatía, así como también aceptando lo que no puedo cambiar sin la intención de querer controlar todo.

Cuando me permito tener conciencia de mi valor y de mi actitud que implica dedicar esfuerzo y tiempo para alcanzar un sueño, es porque soy capaz de creer en algo que todavía no ha sido probado y que quiero respaldarlo con mi palabra, con mi propia vida y la verdad es que ésta sería una manera en que puedo dejar el futuro abierto.

Entonces dejar el futuro abierto puede ser uno de los compromisos más importantes que hacemos con nuestras vidas, porque creer en algo que todavía no ha sido probado, no es una falta de saber hacia dónde voy, sino es un acto de fe en mi propia capacidad de evolucionar.

Haciendo una apuesta en mi presente

Pienso que si me atrevo a creer en un futuro que todavía no ha sido probado, estoy haciendo una apuesta en mi presente, en quien soy ahora, por la persona que seré mañana y esa incertidumbre en realidad puede ser el mayor reflejo de amor propio.

Por ejemplo, por encima de las circunstancias que vemos en las noticias por la guerra, la crisis económica, los virus, y todo ese caos mundial que muchas veces busca que mi mente se llene con temores o escenarios catastróficos, pero que creo que el misterio también es el único lugar donde es posible la sorpresa, la magia y los giros inesperados que nos cambian la vida para bien. Así que vale también si me permito aceptar que en mi "yo" del futuro tendré herramientas, madurez y sabiduría que mi "yo" de hoy ni siquiera puede imaginar.

De todos modos, una manera de liberarme de las expectativas ajenas y crear un futuro que no ha sido probado, no significa saber que todo saldrá perfecto; significa que sin importar lo que pase, el compromiso más real no es con un destino fijo, sino con el viaje de descubrir quién soy capaz de ser cuando no me pongo límites.

Precisamente porque no está escrito, todo es posible

En particular, con mi condición de pérdida auditiva progresiva, he tenido que aprender a creer en mi misma y eso significa que he estado dispuesta a abrazar la resiliencia, partiendo del agradecer que con el uso de prótesis auditivas he logrado sobrellevar mi realidad.

Creo que la incertidumbre del futuro es el único espacio donde existe la verdadera libertad, así que mantenerlo abierto es abrirle la puerta a mi propia magia, como cuando tengo algún proyecto o camino específico en mi vida que me esté haciendo sentir esa tensión entre la seguridad y el salto de fe en mi misma.

Aun cuando el futuro se siente como un abismo, pero también como un lienzo en blanco, es una sensación extraña de no saber qué va a pasar y la maravillosa libertad de saber que, precisamente porque no está escrito, todo es posible.

Estoy despierta prestando atención y me importa lo que está por venir

Asomarse a ese misterio claro que da miedo, pero también significa que estoy despierta, prestando atención y que me importa lo que está por venir, por la emoción que tengo en el presente, por tener la chispa de la curiosidad por lo que vendrá y es donde el misterio del futuro deja de ser una amenaza y se convierte en una aventura.

Un ejemplo sería en lugar de presionarme por tomar la decisión perfecta, me permite mirar el mañana con los ojos de una exploradora, sin preguntar ¿qué pasa si me equivoco?, sino ¿qué pasará si lo intento? ¿Con qué me voy a sorprender?.

Pienso que moverse por la vida desde chispa de la curiosidad es la forma más pura de creer en una misma, tal como cuando dejo plasmado con cada escrito, con mis ideas, mi creación de contenido, porque es poder confiar en nuestra capacidad de asombro para adaptarnos a lo que venga, me da el permiso de experimentar, de cambiar de opinión, para mirar una situación de frente, evaluar los hechos con honestidad y también decir que elijo cuidar de mí.

Creo firmemente que confiar en ese poder más grande que nosotros, en Dios, significa tener la certeza de que Él tiene el control, incluso cuando las circunstancias son adversas, es confiar en su voluntad, aceptar sus tiempos y creer que sus planes siempre buscan nuestro bien, aunque no logremos entenderlos en el momento.

An act of faith in my own ability to grow

I believe that in such a fast-paced world as ours, it is essential to look after our physical and mental health, and part of that involves nurturing meaningful relationships, treating others as I would like to be treated, and, where possible, helping others with empathy, whilst also accepting what I cannot change without trying to control everything.

When I allow myself to be aware of my worth and of the attitude that involves dedicating effort and time to achieving a dream, it is because I am capable of believing in something that has not yet been proven and that I want to stand by with my word, with my own life; and the truth is that this would be a way in which I can leave the future open.

So leaving the future open may be one of the most important commitments we make in our lives, because believing in something that has not yet been proven is not a lack of knowing where I am going, but rather an act of faith in my own ability to evolve.

Taking a chance on my present

I think that if I dare to believe in a future that has not yet been tested, I am taking a chance on my present, on who I am now, for the person I will be tomorrow, and that uncertainty may actually be the greatest expression of self-love.

For example, beyond the circumstances we see in the news—the war, the economic crisis, viruses, and all that global chaos that often seeks to fill my mind with fears or catastrophic scenarios—I believe that mystery is also the only place where surprise, magic and unexpected twists that change our lives for the better are possible. So it’s also valid if I allow myself to accept that my future self will have tools, maturity and wisdom that my present self cannot even imagine.

In any case, a way to free myself from others’ expectations and create a future that has not yet been tested does not mean knowing that everything will turn out perfectly; it means that no matter what happens, the truest commitment is not to a fixed destiny, but to the journey of discovering who I am capable of being when I set no limits for myself.

Precisely because it isn’t written down, anything is possible

In particular, given my progressive hearing loss, I’ve had to learn to believe in myself, and that means I’ve been willing to embrace resilience, starting with being grateful that, with the help of hearing aids, I’ve managed to cope with my reality.

I believe that the uncertainty of the future is the only space where true freedom exists, so keeping it open is like opening the door to my own magic, such as when I have a specific project or path in my life that makes me feel that tension between security and taking a leap of faith in myself.

Even when the future feels like an abyss, but also like a blank canvas, it is a strange sensation of not knowing what is going to happen and the wonderful freedom of knowing that, precisely because it is not written, anything is possible.

I am awake, paying attention, and I care about what lies ahead

Peering into that mystery is certainly scary, but it also means I am awake, paying attention, and that I care about what is to come, because of the excitement I feel in the present, because I have that spark of curiosity about what is to come, and that is where the mystery of the future ceases to be a threat and becomes an adventure.

An example would be that, instead of pressuring myself to make the perfect decision, it allows me to look at tomorrow through the eyes of an explorer, not asking ‘What if I get it wrong?’, but ‘What will happen if I try? What surprises will I find?’.

I believe that navigating life driven by a spark of curiosity is the purest form of self-belief, just as when I capture it in every piece I write, through my ideas, my content creation, because it means trusting in our capacity for wonder to adapt to whatever comes our way; it gives me permission to experiment, to change my mind, to face a situation head-on, to assess the facts honestly, and also to say that I choose to look after myself.

I firmly believe that trusting in that power greater than ourselves, in God, means having the certainty that He is in control, even when circumstances are adverse; it is trusting in His will, accepting His timing and believing that His plans always seek our good, even if we cannot understand them at the time.
