Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? I'd like to welcome you again to another exciting artwork that I have created today. In today's post, I painted a forest landscape, This is my version of Light through the Forest painted with coffee as a medium.

Tip: In painting landscapes or sceneries it is very important to bring out where the light comes from because it will have a big impact on the painting.

I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me an hour to finish this artwork.
For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic method below.

Materials Needed:
👉 Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
👉 Pencil and Eraser
👉 Coffee Powder
👉 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
👉 Ruler
👉 Clean Water
👉 Rag
👉 Paper napkin

Brushes:
👉 Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
👉 Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
👉 Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.

Basic Procedure:
• Outline or sketch of your painting reference.
• Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
• On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
• The same procedure with the foreground.
• Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
• Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.

Painting Process:

This is the finished artwork of "Light Through The Forest"

That's all for today, I hope I give you some inspiration through this simple art using a unique style of painting. Thank you for stopping by and God bless Hiver friends.
Happy Painting!😀

Thank you to all who always supported my art.
