Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? A blessed Sunday to everyone. I am deeply moved today by the message about wholesome relationships in the church in order to have an accurate connection with each other.
anyway, let me share with you the new artwork created with coffee. My painting reference today is an Oak tree.

This is my interpretation of this piece, An Oak tree painting often conveys a sense of endurance and power.
These trees are known for their strong and well-built nature, symbolizing durability, persistence, and the ability to defy challenges and obstacles.

I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me an hour to finish this piece. For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.

Materials Needed:
πŸ‘‰ Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
πŸ‘‰ Pencil and Eraser
πŸ‘‰ Coffee Powder
πŸ‘‰ 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
πŸ‘‰ Ruler
πŸ‘‰ Clean Water
πŸ‘‰ Rag
πŸ‘‰ Paper napkin or paper towel

Brushes:
πŸ‘‰ Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
πŸ‘‰ Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
πŸ‘‰ Filbert brush

Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.

Basic Procedure:
β€’ Outline or sketch your painting reference.
β€’ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture.
β€’ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
β€’ The same procedure with the foreground.
β€’ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
β€’ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.

Painting Process:

This is the finished artwork of the "Oak Tree" with a coffee painting.

That's all for today, I hope I give you some inspiration through this simple art using a unique style of painting. Thank you for stopping by and God bless Hiver friends.
Happy Painting!πŸ˜€

Thank you to all who always supported my art.

When I first saw your photo and before I read your words, I noticed the width of the trunk on this oak and I thought "wonder how old that tree is?" Very old I'm thinking.

Beautiful work, like always.

Shame I don't drink coffee (or can paint for that matter.🀣..)

Well done!
