Art Journal: "The Rain Clouds" Coffee Painting β˜•πŸ–ŒοΈ

Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? I hope you are well today! A lovely piece of art I created today, painted with coffee.

The Rain clouds are a kind of water associated with precipitation, in actual images, they are characterized as gray and dark. In general, rain clouds are a captivating natural phenomenon, we need rain to nourish the earth.

I used three types of painting brushes for this art. It took me fifty minutes to finish this artwork.
For those who want to try to paint using this unique medium, you can follow the basic methods below.

Materials Needed:
πŸ‘‰ Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
πŸ‘‰ Pencil and Eraser
πŸ‘‰ Coffee Powder
πŸ‘‰ 2 small cups ( lighter and darker shades)
πŸ‘‰ Ruler
πŸ‘‰ Clean Water
πŸ‘‰ Rag
πŸ‘‰ Paper napkin

Brushes:
πŸ‘‰ Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
πŸ‘‰ Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
πŸ‘‰ Filbert brush
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.

Basic Procedure:
β€’ Outline or sketch of your painting reference.
β€’ Paint using a lighter shade of the background by creating a beautiful texture of the sky.
β€’ On the middle ground, paint the first layer of the subject.
β€’ The same procedure with the foreground.
β€’ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
β€’ Then add details to come alive of your painting. I used a liner brush for thin details.

Take note: In putting details, you cannot have sharp lines and shapes unless it is completely dry.
