Full Moon Silhouette Art

Hello Hiver friends, Welcome to my art blog! Today I painted a full moon silhouette using acrylic paint. The image of the moon of this art is super close up.

In this post you will learn how to paint with a limited time. The main subject or focus of this art is the full moon. I will demonstrate basic technique in creating moon on a canvass.

Materials Needed:
👉 Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
👉 Pencil and eraser
👉 Ruler
👉 Clean Water
👉 Rag
👉 Paper napkin

Brushes:
👉 Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
👉 Round Brush #8 / 5/32" / 4.0mm
Note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.

Acrylic Paint:
👉 Ultramarine blue
👉 Titanium white
👉 Black
👉 Grass green
👉 Lemon Yellow
👉 Orange
👉 Yellow ochre

Process:After making an outline, start to paint the sky or the background of the painting. By mixing blue and white paint the sky with a horizontal stroke from left to right, a very common stroke. I used flat brush in painting the background.

With orange, lemon yellow, white and yellow ochre I started painting the moon by making some beautiful textute on it. I used round brush and flat brush for this part.

Putting an extra deatil of the moon using round brush.

For the trees and foreground I mixed grass green and black, In creating pine trees leaves I used round brush.

Put some distance stars. and it's Done.
