Growing Bonsai Trees In our Backyard / Lemon, Herbs, Flowering Plants

Hello Hiver friends, How are you doing? I wish you are well today! I just want to share our bonsai mini farm in our backyard, before I shared to this community @hivegarden about bonsai trees, this is the continuation that I am going to share to you today. In taking care of bonsai tree, we prepared tree that suited for the climate in our place, it is very important to choose trees that can adjust and adopt the weather. We have different varieties of bonsai trees like acacia tree fruit bearing tree, rubber tree and many more.

Growing bonsai trees is a hobby and art and it is quite rewarding. so If you are interesred in taking care of bonsai trees, there are many species that you can choose. For me growing bonsai tree is a journey, giving time in nurturing, at the same time creativity and patience. For me through this hobby it brings positive vibes and good atmosphere around the house.

The most challenging part for bonsai is shaping the tree, like wiring and pruning to make them miniature.

For styling the tree, pruning and wiring is basic technique, it can be learned easily.

One health benefit also of growing bonsai is stress free, you will enjoy and relax. You are going to appreciate the beauty of nature by connecting through the plants and trees.

Below are some of different varities of bpnsai trees. There are new bonsai, (1-3 yrs old bonsai trees) There are also (10-15 yrs old bonsai trees)

Aside from bonsai trees in our backyard, we have also Herbs, lemon, flowering plants.

This is a calamansi a philippine lemon, also known as calamondin, this lemon is a native to the philippines. This is rich in vitamin C. This is also refreshing when you make a juice out of it. Not only that, this is commonly used engredient in philippine cuisine.

Lemon grass, ginger leaves and other common herbs are available in our backyard. These herbs are essential for our health.

We all know this, for overall health this spring onion is beneficial. We always plant this herb even just in a pot or garden plastic.

Above photos are flowering plants. It makes attractive to have outdoor flowering plants around the garden.

Impressive garden! I actually tried making a bonsai before but I failed twice. It was hard to shape and prune them, yes. That's why I got my bonsais from my grandma.
