MY BUSINESS TURNED PROFIT

Checking my bookkeeping, I saw it: first time ever, my massage business is in profit. I rarely use caps on the headline, but this is one occasion, because I'm pretty darn happy about this, because honestly I had multiple moments of desperation if it'll ever happen. But somehow 8 months since starting, it happened, and just for the Christmas before starting my holidays.

It's not big profit yet, but after being so long in a loss, just getting even feels like a win. Well, it's not that long, some businesses could go years before turning profit. I have very small expenses though, and I had a goal to getting even after 12 months. Happened after 8, which means I still have kickstarter money for 4 more months coming. It's a support that is given by the employment office to a new firm with potential.

The uncertainty with starting a business has been surprisingly hard to tolerate, even harder than the crypto markets. I think this is due to crypto being an investment and money that I can afford to lose, but a fiat income is less so, since I need that to pay the bills, and I don't have enough investment generated income to cover fiat expensed.

Well, being in Finland with decent institutions that would cover ones ass if things didn't go well, it wouldn't be an end of the world if I struggled with fiat income, though I would prefer not to. And I don't want to rely on the state. I would like to be as independent with income as possible and not rely on single source. One of the reasons I'm here building stake in crypto that can also generate income.
